    damn just posted this in some other thread and didnt see this one. I'm not sure that Miami would really have any interest in this deal, but I think it makes a little sense for both teams.

    lowry + martin for wade.... or something like that

    we get our superstar to lead us and a line up like this wouldn't be bad.

    wade
    lee
    bud
    scola
    pray to god a decent C

    miami starts to look more like an actual TEAM. One I think actually resembles a younger boston if they could manage to find a competent C.

    lowry < rondo
    martin= allen
    james>pierce
    bosh=kg

    you can argue on all the matchups on who has the advantage but on the whole I think one is just a younger but overall equally talented version of the other.

    How do you know they won't win a championship together?

    But to play along with your premise, it is obvious, from the basketball point of view, that trading Wade makes most sense. LeBron and Wade have too much overlapping talent. It's like having two great low post player playing alongside each other, or having two all time great PGs on the same team. One of them have to sacrifice his game. And you don't want a franchise player to sacrifice his game.

    But Miami will never trade Wade unless he demands it. He's the face of the franchise, just like LeBron was to Cleveland.

    But yes this is exactly right. Season isn't over yet and I think their recent losing streak is being way overblown. Not that it doesn't say something about what they are lacking, but it still doesn't mean they can't get it together.

    They rolled over bad teams but struggled against good teams all season long. That's the result of LeBron offense and history is repeating itself. LeBron's 1-5 in playoff against 50 win teams for a reason.
