    There's no race/religion that doesn't have it's own little shameful demographic. If anything, we can say that MadMax is a product of Irish-Americans, and that's an excellent trade-off!!

    There’s a long and a short answer to your question. The short answer is that McCarthyism, named after Senator Joseph McCarthy, was/is a way to demonize a certain group of people and to use fear of that group as a political tool. It came out of the cold war era, but it’s straight fear mongering and manipulation. It’s useful to know about because it’s still used today to varying degrees by many Republicans, and I think it’s related to what ATW is trying to do with Muslims, although the Germans have their own even darker history with this kind of thing.

    The more I learn about this King guy and how this is going down the more it pisses me off.

    There is a serious discussion that needs to happen about the role of religion in violent, inhumane behavior in today's world, but this isn't it.
