Iso Players: Does this system repel superstar development?

    Adelman's Princeton used Clyde Drexler and Chris Webber better than any other offense could have. When we obtain a superstar, that superstar will have the ball plenty.


    The problem is that we do not have a superstar. Not even close.

    It doesn't hurt to have a good iso player. Especially in late game situations where sometimes plays get thrown out the window and you need a player to step up. Jordan, Bird, Kobe, Lebron, Wade, Pierce, ect. are all great ISO players. In fact, a portion of their teams offense comes from plays created from an ISO situation.

    Let me make it very easy. No.
    Ball dominant during game does not equals to superstars.
    Playing the game provides experiance which helps on the learning curve. Skills is developed at the training ground.
