Not to derail this derail, but I have seen a Charlie Sheen reference in most of the threads I've read in the past few days (and everywhere else). I don't see how he merits such a pop culture frenzy.

That play is usually covered up. We do need that player who can take their guy one on one. It's honestly just a suggestion but I would rather see the ball in Terrances hands then I would Lee,Bud,or Martin.

some people are beyond full r****d.

im going to lose it the next time i hear about terrence williams. he doesn't play. untill he does, he's not relevant. I'd rather give a **** about the ones that do.

He's an injury away from playing 25 minutes plus a game. He is very much relevant. He isn't anywhere near the player bud or lee is for this system which almost makes him useless. But he is an interesting player to have in iso situations.

I agree, but he's more apt to play better for a half court team rather than an uptempo team as the Rockets. I'd like to utilize his talents, but not at the expense of team chemistry. I believe he's destined to be traded.

    I just dont know ....

The guy has so much talent and is physically gifted. On the other hand , he'll make a boneheaded play or just stand there looking like Paris Hilton with his hands on his hips.

Im begining to wonder if he wouldnt be better in an isolation oriented offense where he could do "his thing". Its quite obvious he is very good one on one.

He wont be getting many minutes here until / unless he can learn to play within the offensive and defensive scheme's - He hasnt shown the ability nor desire to do that yet.

I'm sorry but he hasn't done anything to get more playing time. After the trade he had his chance to show that he can contribute but failed to do so.

Yes, he has some talent, but until he can learn to play within the system and play his role on the team. He will sit on the bench.

How can ya'll demand he get regular playing time when he hasn't shown why he deserves it? He needs to show up 'consistently' in practice to warrant some in game time. I trust Rick's judgement on this one.

Iggy is the best comparison. Just like AI, T-Will can pass, rebound, play point forward, run a fastbreak, and both have below average shooting skills. I think Iggy is a slightly more explosive player. It remains to be seen whether T-Will can be a clutch player like Iggy. T-Will can improve his shooting, but his passing abilities and court vision are things that are difficult to teach.

So, Brian Cook is even worse than D-League players?

    This is crap!

Brian Cook will be D-League MVP next season

    TWILL IS A BEAST!
He's a do it all kind of player ( Iggy ), quite frankly a younger version of him too. When Terrence gets his deserved minutes not only will he blossom to his full potential but our team will be more athletic and defensive minded.

Terrence is the best player on our bench (most athletic and most potential), yall just blinded by the differing views on T-will. A triple double in his rookie season, yall won't see chase doing **** like that. He LITERALLY does it all, except his shooting needs work in the off season.

Terrence has the potential to be our best player or one of, given the time and minutes.

You watch his highlights with the Nets, and he was the BETTER player than Courtney Lee who was on the same Nets team. Now on the Rockets Lee is the better fit which equals better player.

On the Rockets, Lee and Martin is front of Williams, both way more efficient than Williams. Now Dragic just came in out of nowhere and went in front of him. Just no room on the rotation for him. If Williams would play shooting guard/SF or allow Lee to play SF then he'd see a little time. Since he fancies himself as a point guard, in the late 90s/early 2000s iso-ball mode that we've grown to dislike, thats the anti-thesis of Adelman offense.

Curious trade for him by Morey really. Though if Williams would just MAKE SHOTS instead of bricking, that'd help his cause simple as that. For all his flaws if he'da been shooting 50% from the field he'd be playing.

Woah he would be so awesome in the Philippines. I hope he does for a year and destroys everyone and wins a championship then realizes that with hard work and dedication you can do anything and comes back to the Rockets and wins us a championship. Yeah that would be the best.

    uhhhh.... ok

-Listen to Battier's exit interview he did with 610 Sports. He says that the truth with Terrence is he "literally just didn't beat anybody out."

He might be the best player on the bench in a one on one situation, but that doesn't mean he helps you win basketball games. It was well known that Jermaine Taylor was the best one on one player off the bench last year, but if you cant execute and play your role on an NBA team you wont get playing time.

A big reason why the Nets were the worst team in the NBA last year was they allowed guys like Terrence to just do whatever the wanted to on offense.

If Terrence is ever going to find a place on a WINNING NBA basketball team, he has to learn to become a role player first.

Talent doesn't always = good NBA player. Right now Terrence has talent but he is NOT a good NBA player.
