I was told that there was a really useful and effective app on the iphone and/or android market that measured your REM cycle through the recording of your breathing during your sleep. Basically, you turn this app on, place the phone next to your pillow and it measures your breathing patterns. From these patterns, it determines when you are at the lightest stage of your sleep and when you are at your greatest. I believe you feel the least groggy and "tired" when you wake up during your light sleep, and you are most groggy and tired when you wake from deep sleep. I was unable to find the name of this product, if somebody could tell me the name or know anything about it, that would be great. I could really use this app... Thanks
There's something I downloaded the other day thats similar to that idea. It's called "sleep-as-an-droid"....should be on the market....if not, google search it.
