I have a feeling this is going to be easier then expected. I normally wouldn't think that with this squad on the road but it really does feel like this is a completely new team.
It feels like a new team because both the starters and the bench are pretty much playing as single unit, namely, there is no significant drop-off when the reserves come in. They are playining the best bb down the stretch. It is just too bad they started kind of late, perhaps too late. At least, it gives us hope for 2012.
I want to win this one for Rick! When the Maloofs fired Adelman, his first time back at ARCO they ordered all the local media to ignore him. No interviews, no mention of him. Unlike all returning players who get traded and get a big hoopla, there was to be nothing at all for Rick. Fans thought it stunk, but the Maloofs had their way. I would LOVE to see Adelman win tonight there and shove it in the Maloof's faces. The Kings fans know how the Maloofs screwed up letting him go and have paid for it with crappy teams every since. GO RICK!! SCREW THE MALOOFS!!
Rick will show his flexibility; Terrorence, Thabeast, and the Dragician will play much of the 4th quarter. After this game the post-trade stats of the Rockets' three-headed monster will be: Terrorence (5-0) Thabeast (3-0) Dragician (3-1)
Most likely last time we see the Rockets play in Sacramento... Hopefully a blowout win. Keep Cousins off the boards and they should do fine.
Would love to see some JTaylor, but Marcus Thornton has averaged 21.2 points in five games with the Kings after the trade and took the starting role from Taylor.
