We were 15-15 on Dec. 27 and lost the next game to Miami (125-119). We were 16-16 on Dec. 31 and lost the next game to Portland (100-85). We were 31-31 on March 1 and lost the next game to the Clippers (106-103). Will we finally get over the hump against Sacramento?
It's a step we haven't taken all season and yet we expect them to make the playoffs like it's a done deal.
with that said, i'm thinking memphis is gonna move up to 5th or 6th seed, giving us a more legitimate shot at nola and phoenix. nola just lost chris paul (day to day and might be out against dallas on wed) and ariza, and if we can win these two games against phoenix (frye out), we'll be right there in the 7th or 8th seed. portland has been playing some good basketball as of these past two games and utah has lost their rhythm. i don't think it's a matter of chasing memphis anymore like everyone else has been posting. NOLA's next five games: dal, sac, den, phoenix, and boston (i'm guessing 1-4) Phoenix's next five games: hou, den, orl, hou, nola (2-3) if we can just go 3-1 in these next 4 games (1-1 with phoenix), then we'll be ahead of both teams
We all know the 1981 Rockets never reached above .500 until the playoffs. But just considering regular season, is getting over .500 for the first time in Game #65 the latest ever?
No. The 1981 Rockets did not make it over .500 in the regular season. Which team made it over .500 in the regular season later than these 2011 Rockets (Game #65).
