Rockets trade Brooks to Suns

Well you know, he did walk out on the team when the game was close.

So yeah. Quitters get a beating. They have the right to be upset at Brooks as a character.

 

No amount of whining and personal hate is helpful when you're trying to have a discussion (or really ever).

 

People make mistakes.

Brooks admitted he was wrong, apologized, and seemed really sincerely upset at himself for it. That's good enough for me, and unless it becomes a habit for him, it's not going to change my view of his character.

Maybe, Dragic will develop into a big time player for us. If he doesn't, I think we will regret trading Brooks.

I don't hate Brooks, in fact I was quite a fan of him until this year.

But the unconditional defending of this guy is unbelievable from some people.

 

Good one. Brooks was the most hated Rocket long before that incident. Don't act so naive.

 

And so was McGrady before he quitted.

So what's your point? Brooks should get a free pass?

 

My point was that Brooks has always been disproportionately hated in this forum.

 

I don't know your stance on McGrady, but it shouldn't come as a surprise.
