I mean the guy is as big as a pf. Why not, you have no inside game, bosh is not an inside player. this is obviously the problem with your team. they are made into jump shooters at the end of the game. there is no inside presence and haslem while a rebounder won't help with offense either.

LeBron hasn't really focused on developing a post game yet but I'm sure it's coming. I agree he needs to add that to his arsenal.

From what I see, Lebron is actually really effective in the low post.

Sure he hasn't got the best footworks nor an array of moves, but he still scores a lot because he is so much quicker and stronger than most of his defenders. All he has to do most of the time is bull his way really deep and do a layup

moving lebron to pf would be a nightmare for the rest of the league. not in the post... but on the perimeter and on the fast break. he could hold his own on defense, but it might tire him out to guard the post.

Lebron is seems to really on a sprinter's crouch to generate power and I think he doesn't play big enough to pull off consistent post game. I'm not saying he can't but he's got to go about it with a Elton Brand or Carlos Boozer approach. Play with a straight posture to get the blocks, rebounds and hook shots to make up for lack size. I know Bron's got the reach to do it.

The guy's been in the NBA for a bunch of years already and has yet to show any inclination to develop and establish a post-up game.. and has never had a coach strong enough to make him.

He probably is what he will always be.

It's kind of tough to do that when Bron has never had a good enough point guard to play or play maker he trusts. I think with Wade or Bibby Bron can finally play with his back to the basket more and develop that post game.

Lebron is a really horrible post player. No post moves whatsoever. No hook shot, no drop steps. he pretty much just lays it up starting from the block, or jacks up a jumper.

I think the same thing. His ego is too big for him to believe he needs to improve his game at all. I would be shocked if he ever developed a post game.

He'll probably develop a low post up game in his late 20's early 30's, once he realizes easier points can be had instead of having to try to blow by his man into a packed paint or jack up jumpers. I reference Dirk as someone who developed a low post game later in his career. It just depends if Lebron really wants to develop one on his own, most great low post players worked on it on their own (working with someone like Hakeem can only yield so much improvement, the rest is working on your own and refining your footwork).

he's doing more and more of it nowadays, much more than in previous years.

kobe never really had a legit post game until he was in his late 20s. lebron is on that path. he just needs to refine it.

100% agree. He sees himself as wing.

How about using the same coach you want to teach Lebron post moves and get him to teach Bosh a few post moves...What happened to the Bosh that led Toronto to 6 mediocre seasons by himself.......The Heat need that player not a Mo Taylor clone!!!

Kobe has those post moves since his high school days. Not as fine as they are right now but the fundamental is always there. He's not strong enough to post up in his early years and he didn't have to when he had Shaq. As soon as Shaq's gone, he's comfortably working down low in 05, 06 season.

LeBron is very WEAK on the post. Wade is actually much, much better.

One thing about LeBron: he has to TAKE OVER. Take over in practices, take over in the locker room and most importantly take OVER in GAMES!

You can tell the people who don't watch the Heat at all.

Lebron has a post game, and has used it a fair bit this year, when he playing PF.
Don't talk on the topic if you have not watched any heat games please.

That would entail him WANTING to be a factor in the post, which would also mean him getting the ball there in clutch moments, which would then mean he'd have to step up. Not sure he wants that responsibility.
