Rose probably gets hit on most of his layups but no calls. I think it has to do with him being too quick -- the refs can't even see the fouls.

yah 3 allstars on a team is not enough.....

Dampier would start on the Rockets and many other NBA teams.

    Chalmers would too

he does things they didn't expect him to do (rebound), and not doing things they expected him to do (make 3pt shots)

their 3pt shooters have been ghosts for a long stretch now. if they start making shots, they would win their games pretty easily right now.

lebron has to play the whole 4th quarter here.

PS - deng is legit. plays hard on both ends. good role player to have.

i don't think that's the case. allen iverson was quick as a blur but he went to the line a ton. rose has a tendency to go away from the contact (and that's why he can make some crazy looking shots). if he learns to lean his body into his defender more when he attacks the rim, he would go to the line 9+ times EASY.

They have a ton of players, but they don't utilize them.

    Joel Anthony? Eddie House?

    Big Z?

All these guys are capable of giving you an efficient 20 mins.

The formula of filling up your roster with over-the-hill former stars as role players does not work out well -- see the Lakers with Payton and Malone. Miami needs to get young and athletic role players, not guys like Miller, Big Z, and Mike Bibby.

No no no. This has been debated before. Westbrook is just as quick but gets foul calls.

Rose goes to great lengths to avoid contact and make the shot. WB relishes contact and encourages it. If you watch him closely during a game, he likes bumping into his defender on the perimeter whenever possible. He also tries to wear them down with post-ups.

For WB, the more contact the better. Not so much with Rose.

i guess lebron does not enough help

i mean there is prob a missing link out there somewhere....

ahahha, some of you make me laugh. yall act like there is some "helper guy" out there that would just put this team over the edge.

    lol

i've been saying this since the beginning of the year.

good defensive coach that doesn't have a clue on offense and has a wet blanket personality.

There are counterexamples. Like Miami in 2006.
