Would have been nice if Tottenham had gotten the win though. They would have retained 4th, and that last Champions League berth. Unless they're planning on going on a run to bounce Man City like last year...

It seems like Man United are just giving away the title at the moment and nobody is stepping up to the plate and wanting it. They are still in control but man what a time to start playing your worst.

The only threat is Arsenal and they are too inconsistent to be taken seriously.

Seems as if ManU always hits a wall at this point in the season, only to turn it around in the stretch run. I'm not concerned about winning the EPL, again. I believe they will. I'm more concerned that this s***ty play will get them knocked out of the Champions League prematurely.

Oh I'm almost positive that they will get knocked out soon, this team is not that good, and for them to be on the top of the EPL this whole time is really amazing and shows how good Sir Alex is. I think they have over-acheived with all the injuries they've had. Midfield is just too old and lacks creativity and it showed in the Liverpool match. I can't believe people like Carrick and Anderson are still with the team.

Chelsea is within 9 points of Man U with the win over Blackpool. We did a good job of sucking out the life of Blackpool early and then dominated the rest of the way, good win.

Worried about Drogba though, hope he is ok.

10 games left, this would be an epic comeback.

Carrick is not the problem on this team or in the midfield. As you mentioned a lack of creativity and Nani is not the answer. The list of creative midfielders United could have signed is quite long but SAF decided Nani was adequate with a pinch of Valencia and Obertan.

I think the fact they're on top of the EPL right now is a testament to the relatively **** job AW-Arsenal and Ancelotti-Chelsea have done this season imho.

Anyone catch the Pool vs Arse today?

A reminder that idiot refs who deserve nothing less than to get violently hit by 18-wheelers exist in all sports.

True, Arse are mentally weak. They're just like Brazil in that they play around with the ball too much with no substance. With the amount of chances they created, the game should have been at least 3-0 by the 90' mark.

But those 2 penalties shouldn't have been IMO. I think the ref just got caught in the moment, it was pretty tense.

In the end I'm very proud of Pool. Flanno and Robinson played fantastic. They kept Nasri and Walcott at bay for the most part, and the best part is that they're still toddlers! This was a game Pool should have lost given the circumstances.

Reina = MOTM. I didn't realize his reflexes was so quick.

Chelsea still a shot at the EPL, unimaginable a few weeks ago.

but Torres = complete waste of money.

What are the chances Wenger is back next year? The Gunners don't seem interested in playing defense and leads never look safe with them. They have goalkeeping issues every season and losing Vermaelen, the 09-10 MVP, for the season was a huge blow.

Chelsea on the other hand are hitting their stride after a great defensive signing (David Luiz).

Chelsea is only 3 points behind Man Utd. after the Devil's loss against Arsenal today.

Sets up a huge showdown at Old Trafford. Chelsea needs a victory, Man Utd. can take a draw.

Goal differential is equal for both teams as well.

Who would have thought that Chelsea after struggling for so long would have a legitimate shot at taking the premiership.
