I gave test results. Test results are not an opinion, they are facts. If you come to some racist conclusions from it, then that's on you.

A commmon ploy. Always claim any good stats are because of Ron Paul; any bad stats are caused by non-whites.
As the rest of the thread points out you are wrong, and it shows that they are comparing different tests, the facts still remain that Wisconsin is in the top 5 when it comes to SAT/ACT scores and Texas isn't. It just depends on what measure you want to use. The crap you posted deals with a 4th grade test and an 8th grade test. The other article mentions an SAT/ACT test.
I made no guesses as to why a gap between whites and minorities exists. Iowahawk says it is due to socioeconomic reasons. But of course, the only thing you know how to do is scream racism.
Does anyone SERIOUSLY think teachers are overpaid? Does anyone SERIOUSLY think that we have alot of 'bad' Teachers? What makes a 'bad' Teacher? Rocket River

As Major already stated; the best test data would be ones that take into consideration economic status. Since none exists (that I am aware of), the closest thing is racial demographics. Unfortunately, due to liberal federal policies imo, economic demographics can be tied very closely to racial demographics. No matter what the circumstances, the NEAP data is far more relevant than ACT/SAT scores for obvious reasons stated by IowaHawk's more recent post:http://iowahawk.typepad.com/iowahawk/2011/03/badgering-the-witless.html You have a problem. Your counter-argument is to call others racist when nobody has demeaned any race. This is called hate speech. Show me where I, IowaHawk, or any other in this thread has shown any belief that some races lack the capabilities of others.
If teacher are so overpaid, there would be a lot more people competing their asses off for education colleges and teaching jobs at the K-12 level.
via TPM -- Famed progressive and documentary filmmaker Michael Moore was among the highlights at rallies inside and outside of the state capitol in Madison, Wisc. Saturday. According to reports on the ground, Moore rallied "thousands" with a rousing speech that focused on "three major lies" of the "past decade." "Wisconsin is broke. There are weapons of mass destruction [in Iraq,] and the Packers need (Brett) Favre to win the Super Bowl," Moore said, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "The country is awash in wealth and cash," Moore said to the crowd of union members and their supporters. "It's just not in your hands." "Wall Street, the banks and the Fortune 500 now run this Republic," he added. http://tpmdc.talkingpointsmemo.com/...s-in-madison-america-is-not-broke.php?ref=fpa
The fact that Wall Street and major corporations are awash in cash has no bearing on whether the state of Wisconsin is in a budget crisis. If he does not understand that, then maybe he should go sit on his wealthy, corpulent ass eating potato chips and talking about the oughtness of things. Many states are billions in debt. There have been discussions of amending the bankruptcy code to allow states to file for bankruptcy. Perhaps rather than make the accusation that Wisconsin has all this money lying around, perhaps he should examine the books and prove it.
