LOL, LeBron went to Heat and people were expecting them to win 70 games. Now they'd be lucky to win 60. And LeBron fanboys said he had no one when he won 65 and 62 in consecutive seasons, and now he has help, they'd dominate from get-go.

Didn't happen, and LeBron's been down on every category, choked badly at clutch time. All of a sudden Bosh's overrated, Wade's trash. Didn't we hear the same argument every year?

Let's sum it up once and for all, LeBron makes teammates worse.

Expectation, expectation, expectation. People expected Bulls to be No.4 team in east, but didn't expect them to be a legitimate contender as they are now. And Boozer and Noah taking turns injured, this helps Rose's case big time. Remember there's a time Bosh out for a few games, and Heat went o a losing streak? LeBron fanboys never learn. They said LeBron won 65 on his own, and he got Wade and Bosh he'd win 70 at least. Now they pretend they didn't say anything like that, and the goal is to build for next 4-5 years.

Come on, LeBron doesn't want to win less than 8 championships. They have to win this year or he's running out of the time.

Rose is not the MVP at all.

Thibbs is the most valuable person on that team.

He makes there bench with Kyle Korver leading it come back against the Heat to beat them.

Rose was a ghost and disappeared but they still won.

He doesn't play good defense, he is a great offensive talent but he is nowhere near MVP.

Without Thibbs, that team would be 10+ games different.

    Two true statements.

Here's a good article on why Rose is ahead of Lebron,Dirk and Howard.
    http://espn.go.com/nba/dailydime/_/page/dime-110304-06/second-trimester-awards

"I simply can't overlook Rose's long stretches without one of his top two teammates ... or the fact that the Bulls have been starting a shooting guard (Keith Bogans) who averages 3.9 points per game ... or how Rose has become a better finisher (and foul magnet) at the bucket while also stepping up to drain 87 triples this season after hitting just 32 3-pointers in his first two NBA seasons combined.

On this scorecard, Rose is having a better season so far than James, Howard and anyone else you want to name from the West. I certainly can't dispute that Chicago's defense, as orchestrated by rookie head coach Tom Thibodeau and stabilized by the ageless Kurt Thomas when Noah went down, is as important to the Bulls' fortunes as Rose's increasingly versatile O ... but I also know that there's no stat to measure the intangible impact Rose has had in keeping the Bulls' self-belief at an elite level no matter which of their All-Star-caliber big men was out."

I have to give it to Rose as long as Bulls finish ahead of Magic.
Yes, Howard is super, but Magic are expected to finish ahead of Bulls. It's a team award.

This obsession with Rose is ridiculous. He's shooting 44% and taking 20 shots a game. Thats by far the most for any MVP contender. I think people need to realize that while Rose is a great player he hasn't reached the level of efficiency that a MVP needs.

But the Bulls are great because of Thibs. They have dominated the defensive side of the ball.

How about Bulls bench taking over the game against the Heat and pretty much being dominant the whole season with limited talent on the bench?

How about there defense where Rose really doesn't impact it but they are still elite?

If this game proved anything, it's that Rose still has a lot to improve. His TOs at the end almost lost them the game.

Still if Chicago finishes ahead of Miami in the standings Rose is probably going to win the MVP.

Because Deng took over at the end again?

And Rose was giving up threes and layups to Chalmers?

Yet he scored 6 straight points in the fourth when they were tied 76-76 to put the Bulls up 84-76 ?

Sure the to's are a minor problem but it only shows that he's trying to make a play. Rose was sick enough when he didn't have a jumper, now you have to figure out whether he's going to drive or step back for the jumper. Plus his speed? He's a nightmare.

    that's what im saying lol

people are overlooking the fact that he hit a cold blooded jumper in mike miller's face then drove and drew a foul to get 2 free throws when the game was tied.

Rose is the clear #1 right now, but there are still about 20 games left in the season.
