Since forever. The pictures you're seeing are likely from before he gets frozen. He always had a gun during his World War origin.
The Green Lantern has 2 ongoing series right now, was the focus of the last big DC crossover (Blackest Night), is one of the big 7 in the JLA, and a form of Green Lantern is one of the big 3 of the JSA. Green Lantern is relevant to anyone who reads DC comics.
Iron Man is Marvel's Batman. No powers, gizmos, smart, richer than nazis. How is any comic character relevant? They're fictional characters in a fantasy universe.
Although FFB shows flashes of inner geek, I don't think he's tuned in to the comic fanboy scene. If the comic were about Houston Restaurants or the 1980's, I think it would be fair to defer. Take a look at the top selling comic of 2010
MUCH better trailer. F yeah! <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/S3TKCeGc2Ao" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
^^ Looked like he shopped at Hot Topic hahah. Anyways, is it just me or would the Cap look better with a sword or an axe? I just don't see a shield fitting in with a pistol.
And... the Trailer is here: <object classid="clsid27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" id="VI0fnwShqMFq38" width="550" height="253"><param name="movie" value="http://www.movieweb.com/v/VI0fnwShqMFq38"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.movieweb.com/v/VI0fnwShqMFq38" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="550" height="253"></embed></object>
I like the visual look of it. Hopefully it'll be good. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/0253cvfKecU" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
I haven't been paying attention to much of this, but is it the same guy playing Rogers before and after the super soldier serum? If so, this hulk's as crazy a method actor as Bale in the Machinist. I hope they don't spend much time on pre-serum. And I wonder if they're gonna do a time skip to show Cap with SHIELD and the other Avengers.
Question, How will Captain America character tie in with the Avengers movie, if the CA movie looks like its set way back in the day? Jw.
It's Chris Evans' face and body after the super serum. Before the serum is someone else's body and Evan's face edited in.
Captain America gets frozen in ice toward the end of the war. He's then thawed out in the present day.
If the movie flops and the Avengers is scrapped, they can do a complete 180 degrees with Captain America 2. Turn it into a complete comedy where Cap struggles to learn and adapt to the 21st century technology.
