they are a beat a crappy team in the first round maybe? teams they will not beat in a playoff round in the east. Boston Orlando Chicago Knicks
it's meant for players who "led" their teams to championships, but kobe's merry men can't really use that, as Shaq was the undisputed leader of 3 laker titles he played in.
Mods, please rookify the OP. How silly can you be to start two thread that start with, "LeBron chokes...blah blah".
how many "undisputed leaders" of championships had sidekicks that put up "No. 1 guy on the team" numbers like Kobe did in 01 and 02?
In that regard, MJ dominated a decade and sits alone at the throne, next would be Magic who led his team to 5 championships (including one in his rookie year when he wasn't team leader, but an injury and the greatest finals performance of all time by any player sort of give it to him) are leagues ahead of anyone not in the 60's and 70's period.
Well, when the real #1 guy is getting triple teamed on every possession, it's not that hard. In 2004, Larry Brown had the smart idea of playing both Shaq and Kobe straight up with the Pistons D. Shaq of course decimated the Pistons for 28/12 (or therabouts) on 60+% shooting while Kobe, not getting the usual free passes due to Shaq's normal doubles & triples, shot a repulsive 30% (thats' bad even for Kobe!) while jacking up twice as many shots as anyone on the team. Hence the Pistons destroyed the Lakers in one of the biggest upsets in NBA history.
a lot? heck we had one in clyde in 95 whose numbers were as good if not better.... Shaq put up 33/16/5 in one of those, kobe's 24/7/6 is paltry in comparison....
Hey guys, I've got this pretty cool picture of LeBron right after he missed that last second shot. Check it out: Spoiler
its reg season. who gives a crap. wait till playoffs and they kick everybody's asses. (Except rockets if they get in the finals )
Ok Drexler, anyone else? Those SHaq and Kobe numbers, which year are you referring to and is it the playoffs or regular season?
I wonder if Lebrons elbow was bothering him again. Or maybe its his teammates who failed him again. But maybe if he played with cast as good as Kobe's Miami would be so much better All I can think of is my "KING OF HYPE" thread yall roasted me for making in last years playoff. Seems I was alot smarter than y'all thought lol
