how do you brick 2 wide open 3s like that? oh jeez they really need to hold another team meeting and resolve this bs
nevermind, the heat didn't just miss a game-tying 3, they missed 2 of them. they could have michael jordan, reggie miller, and robert horry out there and they'd still miss. i hate this team.
You have to be vertical as a defender, including your arms. Dwights arms were down so Wade wouldve got the foul from any sort of contact
Heat have some SERIOUS issues. They just can't beat the good to elite teams with any consistency. Right now I think the Bulls take them out in the 2nd round.
this is really scary for the heat: blowing big leads like this, and unable to execute down the stretch. when you have the 2 best players in the L, this shouldn't happen. they really need to squash this before the playoffs start.
You honestly believe a team meeting will resolve what ails the Heat? Team meetings don't fix faulty rosters and personalities.
i guess because they're the biggest bunch of chokers ever. there can never have been a 43-18 team with more gut-wrenching, statement-not-making losses in history than this team. it's always 1 step forward and then 2 steps back. i mean, there is no way you lose a 73-49 second half lead, and not only did they lose it, they lost it quickly with a 40-9 run (40-9, does that ever happen?). and just to add insult to injury, they managed to come back enough to make sure they had another game-tying 3 opportunity just so it would be a loss that really hurt when they missed (twice!). being a miami heat hater has to be one of the sweetest gigs in sports. you're never let down. at this point, cheering against the heat is the jumping on the bandwagon move.
On the bright side, if you're a heat fan, you can subscribe to Hollinger's theory about close games (i kind of agree with it) that its mostly a result of luck and chance... and seeing as the Heat have been seemingly incredibly unfortunate so far this season in close games, perhaps come playoff time they'll be due.
