If Dirk had not gotten hurt and Butler not went down, the Mavs would be my solid favorite in the West. But their history of underperforming in the post-season has me concerned about their chances. That, plus my opinion the Spurs are overrated, is why I think the Lakers have a decent chance to make the Finals again.
chalmers and bibby might want to work and making wide open shots. heat now 2-14 on 3's. dwight howard has made his last 4 free throws, the heat are 1-8. a 40-9 run, right when everyone was talking about their record against winning teams and they looked like they were going to blow one out. amazing. i hate being a heat fan. nothing but frustration. i may just skip their games in the playoffs. i already know the script.
The Heat need a Chauncey Billups. Vet PG that can keep them from self combusting into these 1-on-1 stagnant offense spurts, and knock down these easy 3s that bron and wade create.
Or go big, put LeBron at PG and let Miller stroke those open threes...nice adjustment SPO as long as wade can cover nelson
i might fire spoelstra and hire riley after this game. no way he'd allow the letdowns the heat have when up big the way spoelstra does. he allows the team to not even try and just jack up jumpers and not play defense for way too long and seems to have no plan to fix it. complete lack of fire.
is dwight howard never going to be called for another foul again? he has 4 fouls guys, not 5. you can actually call one of these challenges at the rim.
You think he is hating? He is probably stunned that Orlando cam back from 24 down. Giving props where props are due. This is a fun game..
**** mike miller and that pass he threw right to orlando after the heat got that steal. and what do the heat have to do to catch a ****ing break at the end of a game? they force a miss and the ball goes to wade but he almost knocks it out and has to save it, then they block the next shot and the magic still get the ball because lebron blocks it so hard that it goes to howard at the free throw line. and one more game-tying 3 opportunity. they've only made one all year so spin the wheel and let's see who wants to miss this one.
Uh, did you watch the replay? First off, Wade got fouled. Then Dampier was clearly shoved by Nelson... which the refs called. It doesn't help that Bavetta is a 100 year old blind man, though.
