miami's bad habits showing now: jacking up shots without running their sets

this team can get a big lead on anybody, and can give up a big lead to anybody. it's ridiculous.

the second i posted the magic weren't interested and the heat may not be due for a drought, the magic went on a 38-9 run. maybe the craziest run i've ever seen.

Yeah, the Heat are NOTHING like the old Suns teams, like blowing big leads. LOL!

Wow, Miami better not let this one slip or they will really be exposed as a team that can't finish against good teams.

I'm just speaking statistically. As fans we form opinions based on heart, and heart says that things like "clutch" performances and close wins are important, when they aren't.

I'd say both teams have about the same chance of making the Finals, because if the seedings hold they will each have to go through two very good teams to get there. So much depends on health going into the post-season. For instance, had Parker gone down right before the playoffs started, the Spurs would suddenly go from favorites to likely 2nd round fodder.

Every team blows big leads. The Lakers blew big leads to Utah and Chicago this year.

IMO, the Heat will have a MUCH harder time beating both the Celts and Bulls in the playoffs than the Lakers will against the Spurs and Mavs. The Heat really need the #1 badly.

Yes I definitely agree that head to head match ups/games in the regular seasons aren't exactly a great indicator for future playoff success.

So wouldnt it also apply in cases where one uses it as evidence for future playoff failures? especially when the pt differential in those matchups ares less little more than a basket?

Q-Rich bringing intangibles so he won't go back to the bench.

Not that you have any real credibility since you kind of define 'bandwagon b****,' but this statement was a joke right?

I dunno, the Spurs and Mavs may be the two best teams in the NBA when healthy. Remember, the Mavs only had 8 losses before Dirk went down for a while and they went something like 3-7.

hey wade, think maybe some of those lackadaisical free throws you tossed up there and missed might be important now? i can't stand how wade plays with big leads.

also, one of the big common denominators in heat losses, 3 point shooting. 2-12 tonight. they are going to get killed in the playoffs. if they're lucky, they'll escape the 2nd round.
