    Folks,

New Jersey gave up on him.....NEW STINKING JERSEY !!!

The guy is not an NBA player yet, he can not play off the ball, and is not good enough on it to be on the floor.

He needs to shut up, and get to work on his game, and mature a little or he will be Rashard McCants part 2.

Apparently PPat didn't have any problems developing into a good rotation player while seeing very few minutes.

You don't go from being a 12th man to rotation

...player just from seeing more minutes.

Anyway, we sent a nonlotto pick to NJ for this guy. If we make the playoffs it is because we didn't play TWill. If we miss the playoffs, we don't lose our pick. I don't see how such a low risk move can be considered "bad".

So we agree then, Williams needs to have an offseason under this system and we will see a marked improvement in his game. Until then there's no reason to ruin your playoff chances.

His BFF isn't Daryl Morey who just so happens to monitor social media. It isn't helping his cause as the kind of character the team wants to represent from its players. Whether he is allowed to have free speach or not, doesn't matter. Its obvious from most of the former player to wear a Rockets uniform that Les Alexander DOES care about attitude and character.

Shocked that he didn't play in the Clippers game. For the life of me, I can't understand any reason Adelman should have benched him after the last game. Frustrating for fans and Twill alike..

Its basketball related. He's not doing what he needs to do on the offensive end, which is move without the ball, come off of screens, etc... Also, he was an offensive liability in the offense against Portland because he was getting open and not hitting shots.

More than likely Adelman just needs to re-work how to use him in the offense. The spots where he was ending up getting open looks aren't the looks he is wanting Terrence to get.

I believe he could be useful on the defensive end with a back to back, but you have to realize Adelman's coaching philosophy with this particular team to win games is all about efficient offense that leads to efficient defense.

Whether you think Terrence is a better player than Courtney Lee or not doesn't matter, right now Lee gives this team a better shot at winning right now because he fits into the chemistry of what they are trying to do offensively.

I don't understand why everyone wants to make the playoffs. Do you guys enjoy adding another tally to our list of first-round exits?

Well, if Les is having to pay luxury tax this season with a team like this, he might as well make a little extra money in the playoffs to make up for it.

Im become more and more embarrased to be a Houston Rockets fan not because of the team, but because of this attitude our fans have.

There are plenty of other threads that share the pros vs. cons to making the playoffs vs. getting more lotto balls in the draft. Ill let you search for them yourself.

Yeah like that matters. T-will does deserve at least a couple minutes off the bench. Some of you think that Adelman is gone after this season anyways. Plus, even if the Rockets do leapfrog 3 teams just to make the playoffs, do you really think they would make any noise? I know it's hard to hear but the Rockets are the kind of team that people want to face in the first round.

    Strong counter-argument, kid.

Anyway, Rick agrees with you and I as well, young players need to develop their games in the offseason and figure out the system before they get minutes.

I think the guy just has the emotional mind of a 17 year old. He needs to learn to keep himself in check or he's going to ruin his career.

I feel for him and the frustration he is going through, because he's on such a short leash right now that one mistake or one bad game (Portland) puts him back at the end of the bench. Adelman's job is to get us to the playoffs though, and he's obviously not comfortable with Terence yet. No need for him to go having meltdowns though ... that's not going to help anything.

It doesn't really matter what armchair GMs think, everybody involved with the Rockets wants to go to the playoffs this year, and the best way to do that is to not play your 12th man project during the playoff chase unless you have to.
