I couldn't move for a good 20 minutes the last time I was at Schwartz' Deli.

I am happy with this sandwich as long as everything above the middle piece of bread is left off.

As the son of a former NY-style deli owner, I've never been able to get over the disgusting things people come up with when creating a sandwich.

Paula Deen's reasoning for using donuts is the same reason I like raisins on my sandwich. It gives it a sweet taste. Also, raisins and provolone are a great combination of cheese and fruit.

I'll also throw in Spec's "California Dreamin'" sandwich.

For $6, one of the greatest sandwiches in Houston.

Croissant bread is actually my favorite. Sun-dried tomatoes are pretty good. As are sprouts.

Never thought about putting raisins on a sandwich-- nice counterpoint, I bet.

I make tuna with apple bits; it's delicious.

Scarlett Johanssen in the front, Jennifer Love-Hewitt in the back, and me in the middle. That's my favorite sandwich.

You can build a decent sandwich at Central Market. But there is gas station that has a deli in it going towards Lake Jackson that is amazing.
