I'm really curious as to why he's not playing. Although many say he was garbage in the what 18 minutes he played the last 3 games. Thats because he bricked a couple of shots...which should be expected from a guy that has barely played.

On defense he does not look too bad and he has come up with a couple of nice assist.

I mean Adelman seemed to be really patient with guys like Chase and Brooks...I think the guy is just in the doghouse at this point.

He didn't just brick shots. He took bad shots that were hurried. They were those "it's a good shot if it goes in" kind of shots. He is talented, but the kid needs to get his head on straight. He's got too big of an ego/sense of entitlement from the little I've seen and heard from him.

If he is actually in the dog house, then I imagine it is because he takes bad shots. I mean, sure, he has a couple of plays here and there that make me say "WOW, that was a nice dish", but then he comes back down the court and throws up a terrible jump shot or goes in out of control and puts up a terrible layup that might as well be a turnover.

Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying Terrence Williams shouldn't play at all, the guy definitely has some potential, but the Rockets really needed to get this one tonight and I can certainly understand why Adelman went with the guys he's comfortable with.

Morey was dumb trading for this guy. That pick would have been a lot nicer to have than this dude that thinks he's a lot better than he really is. People that actually Tweet him the #freetwill crap are just over-inflating his big ego.

I don't disagree that they were bad shots, but this is what Adelman should expect when guys like Lowry, Scola, and then Brooks take bad shots.

When you let your leaders do it then other players will do it too, this was the problem with the Warriors back when they had Nellie.

I just don't see how that short stint says to Adelman 'This guy can't play for us.' he did some bad things but he did some good things too. RA doesn't seem to have a lot of patience with him.

I think Adelman is patient only with people who work within the offense. Once they know the O and trust the O He doesn't care if they go off script and show their creativity. AB might have been a special case because he could make shots, so it didn't matter if he was initially wild. The problem with Twill is he wants to go of script without running the Offense first and fails at making shots.

Geez, I just saw his tweet, why is he melting down like that.

How long has he been on the team? why can't he just practice hard and wait it out because RA is probably not going to be here next season. He should realize he is still a prospect to the Rockets and he will eventually get his time to shine if he practices hard.

I think he will probably play again the next game. Adelman's just extremely conservative, will go go 100% with his known guys at the most difficult moments. He did that in Portland, today in LA and will act the same way in a future situation. Doesn't mean he's right, but he just prefers to forget the unknown and go with what he knows better. It's like an attitude of fear of the unknown.

I think he will give him more chances, in Houston and with some more practices in between.

    Could be it.

Either way someone needs to monitor his twitter, I mean the guy should realize this kinda stuff is not going to work. He looks up to Shane Battier so much, if he had his attitude maybe he'd be closer to seeing the floor.

I am actually concerned about Twill, he really seems hungry to play and I wish he would be given the chance.

    Adelman can suck his TWeen.

I agree. I am a Morey fan, but next to drafting Dorsey, the trade for this moron might have been Morey's biggest mistake.

Yeah, it's looking more and more like Twill is just a wasted pick. Unfortunate.

So what if he gos away from the so called "offense" other players do it all the time. Does anybody else hate it when Lowry, Chuck, Brad, and when AB and Battier used to do stupid crap on offense? Unless your a FAV of Rick then you can make no mistakes I guess.

Because those players have shown they're capable of doing good things that help the team. All twill has done is try to get his own game going by forcing bad shots and not doing anything else. There was one play in the hornets game where twill could of gotten a rebound but he didn't do anything but watch (I think it was cp3) get the offensive board. You could see the coaching staff's reaction on that play and things like that is what keeps him on the bench.

I have no idea why Morey gave away a pick like that. None. I like Twill but with Rick Adelman it made zero sense. I really want to blast Morey for trading away a pick like it was nothing for Twill like a huge gamble he seemed to not feel was gambling. Like it was throw away pick or something. That pick could help us if we had it back. I really feel Morey screwed up alot lately. Now the trades he made turned ok because Rick Adelman finally had to start playing guys that need to play in order to win. Then Rick reverted to his favorites to screw it back up by playing Miller alot again and his veterans until they had no energy and stopped playing the young guys and Twill again. Thus we lost again. Either this idiot Morey needs to remove all veterans from Ricks hands or he needs to consolidate Ricks roster in players Morey feels will get some time for the players Morey gets for him to utilize. Twill cannot be planned as some back end of the bench guy for a 1st rounder in the future. Morey needs to rethink his strategy if his plan is to trade first rounders for 15th players off the bench in the future.

So he's retiring after this season? What a waste of a pick then.

Agreed, so far this has been Morey's worst move. I don't blame Adelman for not playing him either, i much rather see Bud, Lee and even Dragic on the floor than what i've seen of Twill so far
