Star center getting injured=nothing to do with the GM.

BS BS BS this mentality is one of the reasons we haven't won a championship since '95. Moral victories are not wins the f'in reality is we need wins but if you are ok with a reality of the Rockets not making the playoffs for the 2nd year in a row then there is something wrong with that mentality. A loss is a loss and a win is a win. This is a f_n loss. We cannot afford to lose to teams like the Clippers... doesn't matter if this is the 9th game in 10 nights we put ourselves in this position we were at .500 we need this win more than Clippers but we didn't win the Clippers did. I have a issue with that.

We are 3.5 games out with like 20 games left.

Did you think we were going to win every single game? Sure it would have been nice and possible but I didn't expect it.

This loss does not take us out of the playoff race.

Is this the 1st year that Yao has been injured? Was Yao getting hurt this year something new? Do you need more than one center?

I was happy with the effort tonight, but damn this team needs to find a way to pull these games out.

I understand you're playing your 4th game in 5 nights tonight... you're tired, you don't want to work as much as you need to on offense so you settle for outside jumpers, even though they aren't going in.

This team can't have that crap right now.

And that 3rd quarter was god-awful. What a horrendous time to go completely cold.

This team was built around Yao. Not much you can do there. Its tough luck. This is what we got.

Yea the box score is one thing. My point is they didn't pick it up when we needed them.

This was a 50% rockets team instead of the 100% that came out in NO and Portland. Energy level was really flat to start. It was obvious Scola had zero legs for this game.

That is the point I keep trying to make too. The fact we are like year 5 on Yaos injuries without a young guy who was waiting in the wings developing or there to replace him yet? Thats pretty bad decision on GM. Also the height issue is there every year relying solely on Yao which is redonkulous. Then the superstar which also relies on Yao. Two totally ridiculous assumptions made by our GM on a totally unreliable person injury wise.

How is Budinger and Martin not showing up today Lowry's fault?

    5-for-13 Chase Budinger
    4-for-15 Kevin Martin

    Key post-trade stat:

    3-0 when T-Will plays
    0-1 when T-Will doesn't play

The solution is obvious, give T-Will his 0-for-2 in 7 minutes!

Whenever we actually get to see what that GM can do without Yao's contract completely handcuffing him.

looked at box score couldnt watch the game, tought loss. 5 game winning streak vs. 5 game losing streak. clippers had 3 days to rest after their toughest schedule, we have been playing tough these last few games and didnt let them blow us out. they were out for blood tonight against a team who was drained.

once again length looked to have been our demise. dont worry, we just have to keep our pace up and not let this close loss let us down. we can afford to slip up a bit, but just a bit... i wanna see us get a few games past .500 at least.

    go rockets!

There is still a chance mathmatically but losing to the Clippers clearly indicates that we are right back below the .500 mark and when we play better teams in close games we need to dig deeper and make better decisions. We aren't playing the Clippers the next 19 games a lot of teams will be better and smarter. We will see at the end of this season if we could afford to lose this game. Now Saturday we are playing a team that is attempting to make the playoffs in the east see if we can afford to have and on and off game against the Pacers... unlike the Clippers game we'll get blown out the f'in gym.

Exactly. In that 7 minutes he would have played great defense.;)

I thought RA was going to give some PT to Twill? I don't see why he kept him out tonight against Clippers.

Not to mention his 2 assists everytime he comes in and extra rebound would have won us the game. Seriously.
