Clipper commentators post-game talk like the Clippers are the greatest team in the world for beating a not-so-great Rockets team at the end of a 4-games-in-5-nights.
Should've put Hill on Kaman when Miller couldn't stop him. Hill has more length to contest that midrange jumper and enough speed to prevent him from driving in.
Missed free throws in the third were the difference. Lowry with another double double. He should have taken the last shot.
I'd much rather beat NOLA and Portland than the Clippers. If we're gonna lose one of the 4, it's best we do it to someone who we're not competing against.
Settling a little bit too much for the threes. This team is capable of getting to the bucket. Yeah, I'm not really a fan of Lowry isolation at the end of games. With the way the Rockets pass the ball I really don't see why we don't try to run an actual play.
This was the story of The Rockets the past few seasons. Some might think it was injuries, but no, it's not. It's clawing back to .500 like they did in December only to run into a mediocre player that plays like an All Star against them. Chris Kamen? Screw that. You could argue the case of Eric Gordon as well simply because he misses 18 straight games but looks like he never missed any time. And refs calling bogus fouls on Chuck Hayes when he has been out of foul trouble the entire season. Game was a lot like The Sacramento game last season when you had guys like Nocioni and Beno Udri making every shot they took. Killed The Rockets momentum just like this game will.
you could score 50 and make a couple boneheaded plays at the end of the game and it will be on you.. stop making excuses..
They're just upset. Lowry had nothing to do with us losing. They were just tired from being played into the ground last night by Adelman even though they won by 15.
