Saw C. Bud last night at Pearl Bar, prior to the Dallas game a couple of months back I saw him and Jordan Hill at Lemon Bar in uptown.

I think his struggles is probably because he likes to party more than anything else.

This thread was posted after the 12/7/2010 game.

The Rockets played 18 games until that time, and has played 18 games since then.

Before this thread Budinger's numbers were:

    35% FG%, 23% 3pt%, 77% FT%, 44% TS%, 7.5 ppg

    After this thread,

    49% FG%, 45% 3pt%, 87% FT%, 62% TS%, 9.3 ppg.

Minutes played and other numbers are similar.

Conclusion: We need more memorial and post-mortem threads for players in slumps.

Good post... The numbers don't even show the whole picture. I would say his game has improved across the board in every category even defense (Yes still poor but better). His court vision is better less stupid mistakes are bad shots. He seems to be a more agressive rebounder and even blocks a few shots here and there. He still needs to bulk up and be more agressive going to the basket but overall after this thread Budinger has blown up as your stats suggest.

How about starting a memorial for the unborned defense of Chase? I’m glad he is out of his slump but he still has a lot to prove. Have you noticed how teams are purposely exploiting him even with whoever scrub is on the court? Sad but true, he is really spreading the reputation of being a punk around the league. I might have been too harsh, I still have hope he becomes adequate but it has been ridiculous the whole year.

The moment Chase steps on the court, his counterpart starts to giggle uncontrollably.

But the turnaround started before the date discussed in that thread. :) So maybe a little of both.

I remember this thread when it started. It said the Chase Budinger Memorial. When in his slump to condemn him at the time. I remember because of the pages of comments that haven't changed in reaction to it. It did not have any sarcastic disclaimer back then and is now kind of disingenuous now when looking back on it.

Thats cool. As long as some of you remember when you post who you are cape riding or piggybacking of off.;)
