It is the over reaction of the apple fanboys that make it a troll. Don't be so defensive when someone cracks on apple. I have an iPod touch 4g like millions of other people but if someone says it sucks wat the hell do I care?

 

The subject doesn't really matter; anyone going into a discussion with the sole purpose of ****ting up a thread repeatedly will get the same reaction. Pretty straightforward.

people get so damn emotionally attached to companies. apple this..microsoft that..ATT this..verizon that.

evaluate a product for what it is...and whether you need it or not. who cares who makes it? the reason the ipad is popular is because apple introduced it to the mass market. any other company would have failed.

people went out of their way to think...hey if apple makes it..it must be good..and i must have a use for it.

 

Not really.

Look at the iPhone. People tried to give this same excuse when it became popular, and yet smartphone growth has exploded outside of the Apple offerings as well. The same will likely happen with tablets.

Now, it's entirely debatable if people actually 'need' their Droids and iPhones and EVOs and such, sure, but the 'only to look cool' excuse pretty much ignores what's happening with every market that Apple's devices kick start.

Endgadget is reporting there will be an SD slot.

 

I'd be very surprised if there is - it directly undercuts Apple's beloved tiered price structure. We'll find out in a few hours, but I believe I saw the original SD slot rumor amended to be a SIM card slot.

 

last time i heard that one is solely designed for extracting pictures from digicams.

 

If the SD slot is available that just may be enough for me to buy one. I'd still prefer it on an iphone though.

The Apple Store is down and rumors are that the iPad 2 maybe released today! Whose buying?

 

most likely just an announcement like all the past events.

 

They don't shut down the store just to make an announcement. It's only when they add new products or change the system. Why change the system in the middle of the day?

 

they change the site to add the new product and usually allow sales but delivery won't be for another 2 weeks. Kinda like Pre order (my guess).
