This one looks very nice and simple.....I think it's perfect, just needs that yellow, and it would be appealing to every kind of fan out there.
Just a suggestion, but what if the majority agrees on a design and we make it go viral through facebook? Users can post it as their profile pic for a week. If enough people do it it will definitely get back to the Rockets AND the media.
It's going to need to be bigger than just Clutchfans though. We're going to have to reach out to Chinese Yao Ming fans. :grin:
Thanks. I appreciate it. As I mentioned earlier just tooling around with a few concepts for fun. Since I work in design this is a nice diversion.
So would a lot of people. This is the thing. The Rockets need to realize that... (ugly logo/tmacyao era)---->(new beautiful logo/new era) = PROFIT.
That was partially the idea as I was thinking first of a sunrise on a planet from space and started working on that concept. I posted that earlier but didn't think that would work out as a logo so I greatly simplified it. I then had the image of a rocket taking off from the planet and had the image of that with the crescent as sort of being like a bow an arrow combining a timeless warrior image with the space age. Perhaps making silhouette of the rocket larger might not make it seem like that so much. Anyway personally I like HRocketsFan's one and think it will be great if he tweaks the colors a bit. For some reason Josephnick's logo image isn't showing up on my computer but I can see his jerseys and they look pretty cool too. If I have some more time I might take a crack at some jerseys. Great job by everyone and hopefully the Rox will take notice of these and we get some new fan designed logos and jerseys.
joesphnicks, great job! Love the jersey! I agree that there needs to be yellow trim. Can we realistically begin a petition, or get enough people to contact Les Alexander and show him that jersey and logo? I will be up for anything

This has converted me. I always wanted yellow, but not anymore, this is PERFECT! A bit of old, a bit of new. The rockets really are red and silver now. I'd like to see an away (red) version of this jersey.
