Kyle Lowry's best game as a Rocket?

Great team defense all around. Lee and Budinger playing with confidence.

Dragic showing why he leads the league in TO's per minute, but he's still 6'4 and a great defender.

T-Will doesn't sound all that pissed off: "Great win fellas, back at 500 keep improving. @Klow7 was huge for us tonight"

What's he got to be pissed off about? What right does he have to be pissed off?

if T-Will can hit his jumpshots he'd be gold. he was creating his shot really easy.

Coach looked completely different with his post game presser. Almost like you could feel the excitement from him, that the team is finally getting it. I wonder if the team continues to improve and finish strong, if he'll want to be back?

Was In the game. Sat in front of this lady who saw my kids wearing rockets jersey. She came and introduced herself as adelman's wife. Told us Avila might not play. Very nice lady. Have high pics how do I post?

I miss those FT attempts. It seems like Lowry can barely get to the line now.

Just saw the game highlights on Sportscenter and it was all Rockets highlights. No Portland highlights.

After the next loss half the people in this thread will be saying "BLOW IT UP" and "season is over"

I thought the same thing. They were very knowledgeable and gave credit where it was due. Great announcing for a great game.

Exactly...thank you. Someone here earlier was complaining about the Portland announcers and I was surprised. They are LITERALLY great at their job. Great.

LA, Portland, Houston and a select couple other cities actually have great, GREAT announcers. We are lucky in that regard...basketball AND baseball in Houston have great announcers.

I think J.D. for the Astros might be the best color man in the business. The man has style AND charisma....and charm. He had me at "hello".

Great glorious day here in Iraq…. I finally caught my first game of the year! I woke up this morning and the first thing I usually do is open the TV Companion during games, to my surprise when I checked the AFN (Armed Forces Network) Sports Channel, MY ROCKETS were on. I was late for duty but it was worth it. I actually got to see these players and can actually give an opinion after the game.

    Everyone seems to be adjusting to the changes;

Dragic: I can see that when Dragic gets a chance to learn the system he’ll be a great pick-up to the team. His length on defense is a plus but he needs to fight through those picks better. (Sidebar why does spell check want to change his name to “Tragic” or “Dragon”, I found that funny) His drive through the middle was great, through two defenders as I recall it.

Willaims: T-Will has a lot of work to do this offseason, if he doesn’t get traded after the season that is. He was a tad bit wild and seemed foreign to the system; he’s been here too long to look that bad. Even if his shots would have fallen I wouldn’t have been impressed.

Budinger: I did see C-Bud take a couple a plays off when he should have went to the basket but instead took a trey that missed badly twice. He’s growing into the role though.

Patterson: This guy can play, certainly has a higher ceiling than Hill, and I was a Hill fan until I saw this dude with the putback dunk and the way he rebounds. He could start IMO.

Everyone else played as I expected them to Chuck was great on D again, still got his sneaky guy points when they played off him. Lee did what he used to do before becoming a Rocket, Martin is a great scorer and doesn’t get his recognition league wide, Scola was efficient as always, Lowry was shooting better than I ever seen him do it before, and Miller, well Miller was Miller.

Great game and a great day in Iraq to see the game.
