Now Rocket has a new big 3: Lowry, Kmart and unbreakable Scola (who almost miss his first NBA game since his arrival, and still did 10/11 FG). Good thing for the playoffs.
50% shooting is a dramatic fall off? Dragic was in foul trouble so Dre had to be on the floor with Lowry.
Mmm, I'd have to disagree a bit. We made open shots as well as contested shots, scored close to half of our points in the paint, played pretty good defense (although you can argue they were just off tonight), and spread out the scoring amongst the players. So, maybe not our "best" win but rather all-around effort win.
We absolutely SWARMED the paint tonight. Forcing them to take jumpers + bad shooting night for them = WIN
These trades forced Rick to play the young guys. Over the last few weeks, it was pretty brutal to watch. This team is officially fun to watch again.
If twil does anything other then drive the ball and get a layup or dish..I'm happy with the minutes he is getting. obviously lee is the better player..great win...
After these last 2 huge wins I will actually be surprised if we DON'T make the playoffs. New Orleans, Utah, and Portland are on a bit of a slide while the Rockets are gelling at the perfect time. Gotta bring it tomorrow, and I know they will. This team looks like they are on a mission. This Rockets team is gnarly, b****in', and WINNING.
Lee was playing similar in his first month (just making more shots...). He will need his period of adaptation. Patience. We, Terrence, and Rick. He will be a nice player for the franchise if nobody ****s it up.
T-Will needs to drive to the hoop, he can get his shot or create for others but is settling for jumpers WAY to much. Dragic is dribbling to much but with more practice time, he will understand the offense better.
6-7 games before the trades Adelman had already changed up the playing time so Lee would get around 22 mins per game.
Kyle Lowry is growing on me. I feel like Kevin Martin has actually improved as a player. Budinger needs minutes to be effective and Courtney Lee seems to have become our glue guy on the perimeter.
Just watched the Rockets/Blazers segment of NBA tonight on ESPN. Nothing new to the posters here, but it was just awful. The first third or so of the segment was dedicated to the Wallace trade with Legler gushing about what he brings to Portland. Then Martin for three, Lowry for two, and a blip about Budinger dunking, and oh yeah he started tonight (I wonder why). No follow-up, no analysis, Rockets won - let's break for commercial and then we can talk about a team/star we give a crap about.
I want to see Patpat's ridiculous putback dunk, and Goran's 1 on 3 fastbreak. Chuck's behind the back to Bud was pretty sweet too.
Rockets had a great two games. Hard to tell if it's just a lot of guys being hot at the same time or if guys are finally starting to feel comfortable with PT and rotations. Could be that Dada was right and the rotation was too long. Getting rid of Shane and Brooks may have helped that.
No. He's playing almost identical to last season. His three point percentage is up, but his FT% is way down. Check it out: The only real difference in his overall production is that he's playing more minutes now. He is what he always has been, a solid starter, probably about as good as the average starting point guard in the NBA.
