Couldn't have said it better. Awesome show. B.O.B. was great, warmed up the crowd, and convinced me to get his album. Lupe absolutely shut House of Blues down. They should just close the place down now. On a related note, weird being in a place with some fellow ClutchFans and not knowing it.
Can someone give me a list of the new songs Lupe has released recently that may or may not end up being on Lasers?

I went to the show last night and it was amazing. The show was sold out and it was a standing room only crowd that was going crazy. Lupe went for almost 2 and a half hours straight. He was reppin' H-town too. Of course he performed hip hop saved my life, then he was freestylin over Mike Jones's still tippin beat, and then started talking about Houston and brought out Trae to rap with him. Great show! Thanks to Sland Balla for posting his tour schedule.
Reaction has been really negative so far http://twitter.com/#!/LupeFiasco/status/42646909134979072 Listened to it once today, the main complaints are that it is way too commercial/mainstream and no doubt it totally is. Will give it some more listens to see how I actually like it.
it is way too commerical/mainstream, but cant blame him, he's trying to put his name out there and most of the time that's where the fame/money is at.
Hardly right... he eventually bowed to Atlantic's requests because he wants out of their deal which was a 3 album agreement. I agree though, that with this album he will generate a bigger fanbase which will serve him well as he looks to go independent. he actually hates Lasers
Listened to all the tracks including the bonus tracks... seemed good all in all. I was a little disappointed in some of the songs but a few of his songs on the album have potential to go mainstream. The Show Goes On and Words I Never Said are already mainstream. Letting Go and Beautiful Lasers are prob the two that I think have a good chance of going mainstream. Never Forget You with John Legend was pretty good, and I really liked all three bonus tracks. The album itself wasn't bad, but at the same time wasn't great.
