I'm trying to sign into my account. I know my username, but I do not remember the email address I used for my youtube account. How the heck do I find out what email address I used?
you know your usename but not your e-mail address? you can sign in with your username.. Also, if you need your password? have you clicked "forget password" and checked the e-mail accounts you do remember.
Well, I signed up with my username around 4 years ago, and I have around 7-8 email addresses, and I wonder if the one I used for my account no longer valid. I dont know why I can't login. Here is my account page. http://www.youtube.com/user/jbiirockets
when Google took over Youtube, do you remember if you merged a g-mail account with the Youtube account?
I dont remember doing this. All I tried to do just now was type in my username and password, but after I hit enter, it doesn't tell me that my password is incorrect, it brings up this screen. I dont know what to do next.
I believe you can just log in with your Google account. Just use the user name/password you use for Google.
I typed in my username and password again on the left side of the page, and it said the following in red...
So apparently my Youtube account is linked with a Google account. I just don't remember how or when I set it up. If I used a gmail address or not. Basically, I don't know anything about my google account in relation to my youtube username. A youtube email support would be nice. Can't find that either.
This happened to me a couple of days ago. I just figured it was a new login procedure that makes you have a gmail account.
