    Sinh Sinh
    HK Street Mkt
    Yuen Ten
    Arco
    Fu Fu
    East West
    Tan Tan (decent)
    Confusious
    Feng Kitchen
Kim Son Bellaire and Fountains for Dim Sum

Most of these restaurants and others are in the Chinatown strip, which is on Bellaire from Gessnar to Beltway 8.

If you want good viet food its after Chinatown on bellaire between beltway 8 to Dairy Ashford. Also on Beechnut and Beltway 8 at Viet Hoa center...

When you see General Tso Chicken, Egg Foo Young, Kung Po Chicken, fried Cream Puff, hunan chicken, egg drop soup, and hot n sour soup as your top food selection.....asian people hardly eats that stuff.....heartburn waiting to happen my friends.....If you think that stuff is good, wait till u actually eat teh real stuff....asian ppl refer to these entrees as american chinese food or fake chinese food bc you wont find these items in china, HK, or taiwan.

China Bear just because they didn't shrink their plates like all the other Chinese buffets out there.

If you just want some cheap Chinese food, I'd recommend Star Snow Ice & Terriyaki. Place is usually always packed.

Chinese Cafe is one helluva quality/price deal. You can order off menu, too, if you know chinese. Go with someone who will order off menu for you.

I find it hard to go to Lai Lai's, because it's right next door to Chinese Cafe.

Do you mean Feng Ling. Or is this different. Feng Ling is awesome. Probably my favorite. But I'm sure there some places I've never been too, as well.

    Pole,
That 888 dish sounds like I need to remember that one.

    Feng Ling is damn good.

They used to have an express location (strictly delivery and take-out) on Dairy Ashford across the street from Stratford HS.

Arco's Chinese restaurant. One of the few Chinese restaurant that comes close to quality of Chinese food in China. LOL at some of the suggestions.

Another vote for Chinese Cafe here. I always get the beef lo mein there and it's not even on the menu (that I can see). It's delicious.

So is the one on Bellaire the same as the one in Richmond in terms of food?

I've been to Chinese Cafe on Richmond several times and never liked it. Maybe I need to try it again.

I like Far East. On their menu it says they won Marvin Zindler's Blue Ribbon award 10 times or something like that. Good quality food and it's pretty cheap.

Yeah, as far as the menu is concerned. But I have a feeling ordering off the menu is better on Bellaire.

Late to the party, but my favorites:
-- Chinatown area (I live here so this is my hood)
    - $
FuFu, Star Teriyaki, San Dong, Xiong's Cafe, Yuan Ten, Yellow River, Golden Palace, Happy Village
    - $$
China Gourmet, House of Bowls, Chinese Cafe, Peking Cuisine
    - $$$ (relative to most Chinese food)
    Hong Kong Food Street, Arco

    -- Not Chinatown
Chinese Cafe on Richmond, King Bo II in Sugarland, China Stix and Panda Express are pretty good for Americanized.

Or the double spicy chicken. My mouth is watering just thinking about it.

Isn't the one on Bellaire the original? Don't know if that means they are better. Their used to be one in Sugarland/Missouri City, but I think it shut down. It was nowhere as good as the others.
