    I'd say 4) Ignoring the irony of putting a racist old white dude in an ad for black history month, why the F is Sterling's picture even there? What professional sports team puts their owner in ads?

    Getting a whole month is already a huge privilege, so no need to ask for a long month. Do you know what's also unfair? That Martin Luther King's birthday is observed by schools (no school) and Presidents' Day (birthdays of Lincoln and Washington) is not.

    Actually there is a Filipino American History Month, a Hispanic Heritage Month, Jewish American Heritage Month, and I'm sure other months for other nationality/religions/etc.
    Probably just not as publicly recognized as Black History Month

    It doesn't make it any less stupid. That history is very important but the way it's handled during BHM just really irks me.
