So true, Clyde. This team is clicking ever since the AS break. Hope we can keep it up. No Brooks. No Battier. Just wins.

Battier was part of the winning group all year long. Brooks, for this year, definitely hurt the team. Maybe he would've turned it around, who knows. But as is, we are definitely better without him. Anything Dragic can contribute will be a bonus(I think he can contribute a lot). Anything Thabeet can contribute will be a HUGE bonus, rather a minor miracle(it could happen).

Battier and Brooks will be missed but while Battier started is was like 5 vs 3 because teams would not have to play Battier too much and the same was happening when Brooks was in the games because of funk he was in teams could slack off on him and pack the paint.

I think it is because we have Thabeet on our team. I mean, we are 2-0 with him.

martin definitely benefits from having a scoring threat (budinger) on the other wing, and vice versa. both players are getting much easier looks now.

Hopefully it is addition by subtraction, because what we subtracted was just added to two of the three teams ahead of the Rockets in the playoffs right now.

    Subtracting Brooks added wins.

Both Brooks and Battier cost the Rockets wins this season. Battier is a zero offensive threat, Brooks was killing the team when he was at point guard.

The Rockets were better offensively with Battier than they were without him. He does a good job taking good shots selectively, making passes, and move the offense along without killing the shot clock.

In fact, Battier has contributed more offensively than Brooks has been this year.

Unfortunately so did all of the other players at some point. I hope they do click and make the playoffs, but let's face it, during this 4 game streak they are 2-0 with them and the same without. Too early to say they're better off, at least for this season.

I definitely agree, but the best part of it is not having Battier on the floor. The guy brought nothing but occasional spot up 3's on offense, and lost a step or two on defense, having Lee and Williams out there for more minutes makes a world of difference, i just cant wait to see TWill take Bud's minutes, wer gonna need his defense and playmaking ability

Both Battier and AB made contributions that helped the team.

The addition by subtraction, is Budinger and others getting more playing time.
Hopefully it will continue to be a positive like it has been the first three games.

Because Shane contributed greatly to winning. So that would be subtraction by subtraction.
