Other than having anne to look at, the entire presentation was, as Barkley would say, just Tuhrrible. They wanted to improve ratings from the last AAs, and get the MTV AWARds watching crowd to view, that they decided to go with the youth movement. But they failed to realize that Franco is only funny when he is high or pretending to be high. I miss the billy crystal days, and I'm huge james franco fan. Very dull oscars this year.
So true, Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law had really good chemistry, they would have done better IMO. Anne Hathaway looked like she tried too hard, Franco...not hard enough.
LOTR was a big steaming pile of s***. All 3 of them. To anyone who never saw these? I wish I were in your shoes.
*sigh* I don't know. I stopped after watching the first Harry Potter one, after all. But I ordered all 3 on blockbuster.com and kept thinking "there has to be something interesting that will happen. Far too many people talk about these." And the 3rd won an Oscar, so maybe that's where it gets interesting. It was horrible. Here's the synopsis: Kids walk through a forest to drop a ring in a volcano. There. I just saved 9 hours of someone's life.
Three movies about people walking to a f-cking volcano. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="640" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/b0sc-gS9AqM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Nikki Finke of Deadline.com is the most feared online journalist/blogger in Hollywood. She was banned from tonight press because she posted all the spoilers about the show. Anyways, she gives a nice rundown on why David Fincher lost Best Director to a f-cking journeyman tonight.
Yes, all that, or better yet, the fact that The King's Speech is a better movie than The Social Network.
Synopsis: A dude who stutters overcomes it for a speech. Yawn. Watch this for further acknowledgement of the Academy's constant dick-sucking. Hope I didn't pull a "Leo" there. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/pmMCbsaiuNQ" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Synopsis of The Social Network: The Story of Facebook that everyone already knows is retold with members of Nsync
+1. But is was better than Inception, which was just stupid. Synopsis: You're in a dream, ad-infinitum. Mind-blown? Only if you're an idiot.
