how ironic, i just finished blood and sand yest, and am watching gods of the arena as we speak. Blood and sand was absolutely epic, especially the last 2 episodes.
It looks like we can expect Vettius back as he agreed to never return to Capua as long as Solonius "draws breath".
Yeah, that seemed like a hint. Everybody gets slaughtered sooner or later in this series, so there's just no way that ponce Vettius gets away with his life.
ganaghas is a great character, although the spartacus as they glorified him in season 1 in unsurpassed. I think the guy is a great actor as well and its sad to see him to such an illness. The fight scene where legolas gets his soldiers to fight spartacus with his wooden sword is epic. when he finally falls down he takes but one look at him and beats the living **** out of them. That was probably the most badass part of the entire season.
I've seen every episode of both seasons and I have absolutely no clue what you're talking about. Legolas? Isn't that the LOTR guy? help?
maybe i'm saying his name wrong. Basically the guy responsible for him being put into slavery, the roman soldier. He says he wants to see him fight when he insults him and has about 20 soldiers around with weapons and all spart. has is a wooden sword. so one fights him and gets whooped another then another then 3 at a time then another 3, this time he falls because his wooden sword breaks. He takes one look at him , gets back up and uses the the handle to beat the living **** out of them and make them bleed while everyone watches as he gives him the stone cold stare...intense!
WTF! that one chick dies!?!?!? Ghanagas was about to be sold into slavery because he loses on purpose not being able to look at her any other way and she gets poisoned. F'd up. And gaya was cool, I hope they have a scene where someone beats the living **** out of tolias.
I believe the character your referencing is Glaber (played by Craig Parker) and the scene you are referencing is the final fight scene from season 1 episode 12 titled ""Revelations".
same, not sure why they are holding back the final episode, they usually post it Saturday morning I watched it here: http://watchseries.eu/episode/spartacus_:_gods_of_the_arena_s1_e6-89691.html
The sequel to blood and sand starts in september. Any word on the new character who replaces Spartacus?
I think you mean "legatus" not Legolas. That wasn't his name, but a military title, which I am assuming stood for general or something. Legolas?
yup thats exactly what it is. I think i got legolas from Lord of the rings lmao. But my roommate told me legotas means legionaire or something/ general like you said. Either way it was badass. I really hope andy comes back because i can't really see anyone else playing that role. THey need to encorporate ganagus as well.
Franchise, it didn't show up on mine either, if you google it you can find the megavideo one(odd) i know. But thats how I ended up watching it. Terrific finale btw, hope you get the popcorn ready.
After the final episode Friday, they said Spartacus would return in 2012. Also, if you find the other Spartacus thread, it talks about the replacement actor. Or you could google it.
Just finished watching the last Episode. Solonius is definately great at taking advantage of the moment!!! Rocket River
