Budinger is a confidence player. Great observation. Also it is true he suffered from playing with AB because AB does not setup players on passes. Whats great is that Goran Dragic and Lowry both pick pockets on defense and both setup other players on passes. So player who would benefit from Goric and Lowry are everyone especially like Budinger. I think we are gonna see more offense. Yes even more. More defense. Yes because we lost Brooks and got a pretty good defender there back and passer. Battier had his days on defense but was inconsistent even on defense. Budinger is just as consistent on offense as Battier on defense. Twill can play defense so we didnt lose defense at SF spot. Twill can pass. So we gained two passers who are good at pushing the ball and other things we didnt have before. Now if we could just get Thabeet to be a shotblocker/rebounder? Thats something we are missing and still need.

Hey man it's no biggie. People throw us players under the bus all the time. I'm not mad at you... I don't even know you. Just keep supporting the Rockets, and I'll keep giving my all every night.

Chase has got me watching the rockets again. When was the last time one of our players had 3 our more dunks? Guys had been electrifying. His three ball, coming off the corner for that jumper, and his slashing to the rim.

Fun watching the young guys getting their chance now.

I must admit I was probably one of the ten most pissed off people in the world about Shane getting traded. But if this is how it's going to be then I wish Shane well and scoot over so I can hop on the Bud-Express. I felt the same way when raefer got traded too. Didn't think Brooks could start. Glad I was wrong then and appear to be wrong again. Hope his success doesn't go to his head and then straight to his jumper.

interesting quote on espn.com, "Since the year 2000, only two other NBA players have produced consecutive games of 25-or-more points after never before having had one in a career of at least 100 games: Travis Outlaw with Portland in April 2007 and Jared Dudley with Phoenix two months ago. Among other prominent players who did that: Michael Cooper (in 1981), Doc Rivers (in 1984) and Gary Payton (in 1992) .

Good to see you back around these parts again, DD. Yes, seriously.

And thanks for not praising CBudd too much right now. ;)

Chase is your starter for the next 5 years. Unless Twill outplays him. Think about it? Next we are going after a Superstar or drafting someone probably big. More than likely not a SF. Budinger is not a weakness on this team. Brooks was on most nights. Chuck Hayes size is. Center position as a whole. To an extent you can upgrade anywhere. So it might be that any position is upgraded whenever the situation arises. Its 1 in 5 chance it is the SF position since all positions are about in the same category with PF and SG less of a need. Still if a superstar opens up at any of these positions? Morey is gonna take it. So? Buds your starter. Hope it works out. Probably can win a championship with Budinger as the SF starter. The starting five can all be starters on a Championship team. Just not Hayes at center. Not without a Superstar. Which none of them are.

Sometimes you need two Superstars. We are way behind in that category.

Those 8 pts don't make up for the defense Battier would have brought.

Who isn't a confidence player? If they lose some confidence they start bricking shots..that's the same for every player. But yea slumps happen..possibly because of fatigue. But im sure as budinger gains more experience and the game isnt goin 100 miles an hour anymore he'll be able to control his consistency.

We won't really know if Chase is real until he earns a starting spot in training camp and plays well when we aren't pretty much out of playoff contention. The last couple of game are a good start though.
