These are the lines for Knicks and heat game on SB.

    New York +425 +9.5
    Miami -550 -9.5

and the over and under is 216

I got the heat covering the spread and the combine score will be under.

Well carmelo's injury factors in and the knicks just lost to the freaking cavs. No one is sold on the knicks just yet.

i'm glad you've recognized what works for you. I mean, I've been successful for a good 7+ years. I don't make enough for it to be a full-time job, because I just wouldn't risk that much on anything that wasn't 100% sure. In the same way that I don't/wouldn't risk enough to make the stock market a full time job.

But I think I could do it successfully as much as traders are successful. In that way, I think the 2 are similar.

This is the most ridiculous thing i have heard. How in the world did you correlate these two events?

The game is on national tv. Wouldn't be surprised if NY covers that line.

I love to gamble on sports and always did so within my means and usually just small amounts here and there to make the games a little more interesting.

It still pisses me off to no end that the Government decided to make it their business to tell me that I am not allowed to do that with my money. Have not gambled outside of Vegas since they truly made it illegal (or is it still legal, but difficult to fund?).

i know what he's saying. you make calculated decisions with investments based on knowlege. The people w/the MOST info (the "sharps" and the traders on the floor) can get the best prices, but there is room for smart people to make smart plays and make money. There is some percentage of chance with both. Enough to correlate the 2 in an analogy? Yeah, I think so
