i mean when u think of the players who missed rip hamilton (understandable) Prince(he looked ill the last couple of games)(ben wallace(has been dealing with family matters. Now with mcgrady and wilcox it could just be a case of illness. maybe mcgrady really did have a headache. i dont know what wilcox excuse was but after a game where mcgrady played well and he was in the 4th quarter y would he pull this act now. he doesnt have a reason

I didn't know Darrell Walker is a Pistons assistant coach. I remember him telling McGrady that he'd be out of the league in three years when he was an 18 year old rookie lol.

The last two coaches hired by Joe Dumars have zero clue about coaching and relating to NBA players.

Kuester was just thrown from the game, and Tracy McGrady was laughing on the bench.

Here is a shot of Detroit's bench laughing after Kuester got ejected. http://tinyurl.com/5sp9aqt

It stated in the report that McGrady laughed and i don't care about other players who laughed. I never been a T-mac hater but i totally lost all my respect to him after this incident. Tmac truly is the biggest quitter in the league history and is not even closed.

haters? You've seen his stats, right? I could never fault any Rockets fan for having negative feelings towards Mac.

Wait you couldn't care less about the other players who did the same exact thing, protesting and laughing their asses off as well. I don't get this logic. T-Mac meant a lot you it seems.

    Ditto.

I've long been a T-Mac sympathizer, and have always felt that the naysayers inflated a handful of unfortunate incidents rather than assess his body of work.

No more. When I read the first report about him missing the shoot around due to some injury/illness, I actually believed it was legitimate....then, when I read later reports stating that it was a coordinated protest, I thought, hey, as long as other guys are doing it too, it would be unfair for me to hold him culpable. But the video of him laughing it up while his coach gets ejected is beyond deplorable. It's selfish, immature, reckless, arrogant, and sadly, a clear illustration of what he's come to represent: a washed up star with a major disconnect between what he once was and now is.

Detroit threw him a major bone by signing him. Kuester's been giving him heavy minutes throughout the season, even though T-Mac's defense has been virtually non existent and his offense has faltered late in games. Kuester, Pistons management, the team, and Pistons fans deserve better.

First, he is an ex-rockets so I do follow him closely same goes with all the ex-rockets players like Nachbar, Alston, J Taylor etc etc.

Secondly, Why KD singled out T-mac in his report? Because of T-mac past history. You can't make anymore excuses for him! He is labelled as quitter in the entire league!

But is it so wrong to laugh at your terrible coach that has screwed the team more than any player on it? I mean really their coach was horrible and everyone knew it.

    Professionalism is the word.

Your coach sucks let the management to decide what to do. You are a paid millions professional player, you do what your coach ask you to do. At least talked to your coach at the locker room and not protesting like the way they do!

Yet, this article only has a picture of McGrady and doesn't mention anyone else laughing...

Were the players acting "professional"? Nope, but singling out McGrady on a Yahoo! Sports blog is pretty stupid.
