i got it. max is a little slow today. i think he's still hungover from celebrating the win over wayland baptist last week.
That is a very impressive line-up. Deadly combination of speed, power, and everyone gets on a base at a very high clip. The bottom of the line-up tails off a bit but thats the case with most teams. Top to botthom though they are probably the best team. Had they kept Victor Martinez to play catcher and not DH they would of been impossible to get out.
WTF?!?!?! I just drafted Wainwright yesterday and today I hear he could miss the whole year? You ****n serious?!?!
Two Astros in BA's Top 100 Prospects: 42 - Jordan Lyles RHP 94 - Jonathan Villar SS I'm a little surprised that Lyles isn't higher. I know BA's list really focuses on potential but a 19 y/o with a 3.12 era in double A ball should be ranked higher. By comparison, Kyle Drabek put up a 3.64 era in double A ball at age 21 and was ranked 25th the next year.
I think everywhere puts his max potential as a #2. Of course that doesn't mean he can't be a #1. I'll take decent stuff with excellent control over another young guy that can hit in the upper 90's but can't hit their spots with any consistency.
Wainwright out for season. http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/spring2011/news/story?id=6154112 Cards just took a massive hit. This division is incredibly weak. Cards might still be the favorite next to the Cubs/Brewers. But I really don't think the Astros are that far behind.
Was watching the conclusion of MLB Network's Top 100 Right Now the other night, and noticed the Astros are the only team without anyone on the list. I think at least one Astro should have made the list.
