Has Rice completely PWN3D UH over the past 12 months, or WHAT? Some facts:

    1. Baseball: Rice swept all 6 games versus the hapless Coogs, including a 24-3 spanking on UH's home field during the conference tournament. Absolute domination.

    2. Football: Rice won 34-31. The score was closer than the game really was. Rice whipped 'em.

    3. Basketball: Tonight, Rice defeated the Coogs by 8...Rice 79-UH 71

Dear Coog fans -- thanks for being a source of wins for the Rice athletic department!

They're taking your quasi-hipster radio station away. Suck on that.

funny how all of the rice fans come out of the woodwork once in a blue moon when the crispies beat the cougars. not to make excuses but its a rebuilding year for the basketball team, we weren't supposed to do anything this year, football? our 3rd string freshman qb came within a drive of beating you. lets see what happens next year, we have hopes of national relevance, all rice has hopes of is not being in the cellar of CUSA.

Our top QB was injured for the football game, too. Push

Bottom line, is that we've completely owned your teams over the past year. Football, baseball, and now basketball. I'm sure the Big East is impressed by your body of work. BWAAAAHAHAHAHAHA

Dude, texxx and me are like the only Rice fans on here. And texxx is really more anti-UT/UH than pro-Rice.

"not to make excuses, but uh, let me make some excuses..."

The funny/absurd part is that there's really nothing to dispute in regards to the facts in texxx's post. Rice has done well against UH in the big 3 sports this past year.

with the exception of baseball, Rice is still a punching bag for the rest of CUSA. Congrats on not getting COMPLETELY slapped around for one year.

I actually thought Rice was gonna be pretty good this year, played Texas close, beat TCU and LSU both of which easily handled Houston.

The 4 losses in a row against C-USA opposition hurt....

Apparently the Cougars broke UCF when we beat them because they haven't won since.

It looks like it is Memphis, UTEP and everybody else in C-USA this year.

Far as football goes, Rice will probably score 30 against the Coogs next year and still lose by 21-28 points.

Rice still sucks at football the last time I checked. They're irrelevant.

Congrats on winning last year, brah. I congratulate ya'll. I always root for Rice against anyone except the Coogs.

So shall I expect the usual from you next year?

Gloating, taunting and self-aggrandizement if you guys somehow win and total and absolute silence if the natural order of things is restored and Mr. Keenum and Mr. Sims whip your butts across several Houston time zones.

Great, sounds like fun! Look forward to not hearing from you next year.

Tex lets see how long you disappear once Keenum drops 70 on you in the fall. Im sure you will come up with a lame excuse like you did in 09 about one of the rice defensive players being hurt.

I really wish I gave enough of a crap about Rice to post threads every time UH wipes the floor with their little owlie bee-hinds.

    Oh wait, no I don't.
