bolded part x100. webosevent site is more than vague at best, but with the url and the venue location... it will be a big event. there will be webos phones (yes... with a "s") and a webos tablet.
T-Mobile USA sucks so much in comparison to Deustch Telekom (Tmobile Europe) they have a decent phone selection, including plenty windows phones
phone is a beast, i find that the 4" screen is the absolute sweet spot, perfect size dual core, gig of ram, '4g', android... if only this phone was made available on t-mo... /envious nexus s owner
ah yeah, you're right I remember seeing that yesterday. I mean phone selection, but their coverage in Europe is really good. Tmobile USA is trash. Then again in Europe, there are so many providers... and almost all of them have Iphone4 orange, o2, vodafone, etc.
I think I agree with Engadget that one day we will all be using small phones/tablets that, when we get home, we can dock with a station like the Atrix does for a full blown 'PC'. I am interested in the idea.
I don't know what you're basing that on. It's actually not that hard to crack. Once I get this thing, I'm going to put the normal Gingerbread on it with all that AT&T crap gone.
I'm waiting too. As soon as it is available, I'll be first in line. Was disappointed nothing was announced at CES.
The only question though is if it's the motorola software that is allowing it to connect the dock/laptop to display that desktop. Doesn't seem like something that is native to Android. I'm sure it can be done but in my opinion the moto software is going to be on there somehow for it to function properly.
That's true... I guess that'll all depend on if anyone can crack the Motorola's webtop stuff. IMO, they should've already had 2.3 on there to begin with... It's not like it's coming out right now.
I totally agree with the 2.3. For me it's either switching to AT&T to this phone and hope my company approves its OR getting an LG Optimus 2x for T-mobile.
yeah, i think that's what he meant, since I was saying how Tmobile USA is crap in comparison to Tmobile in Europe
When docked is that phone tethered to the laptop there? I would like to be able to use my phones data plan with my laptop when on the road. DD
You can tether in many different ways, USB, Bluetooth, Wifi hotspot, etc. Wifi hotspot is nice because it allows you to connect multiple devices.
