Hey, at least these folks will be easy to prove wrong come that date. I wonder if it will cause them to look at the world (or their religion) differently? Probably not. They'll probably even make an excuse as to why they were completely (and irrefutably) wrong.
If God is sneaky enough to put a plethora of evidence all around us for the "theory" of evolution (PFFFT), then surely we can accept that He's deceptive enough to get us confused about the *exact* start of the end times.
Yep, if May 21 comes and nobody disappears, it just means that no one was saved, not that their prediction was wrong.
Then what would have been the point of preparing if all of the people that are supposedly preparing to be saved aren't going to be saved? People are going to start asking questions and wonder why nothing happened to them. Someone's going to be very disenchanted with it all, that's all I'm saying. What's the point of having a judgment day if no one is saved, aside from the coincidental deaths on May 21 (I sure hope there are some executions planned for the day, that would be a hoot)? They can't just say "Well, we'll just wait till the next judgment day", because I can only imagine they're one of those once-in-a-blue-moon type deals. It obviously doesn't make any sense, not even on a theological level, and these people are simply deluding themselves; it's not even difficult to detect the B.S.
Wait a minute. A christian friend of mine just informed me that no where in scripture is the rapture talked about. really?!?!?
Is this calculation using the Julian, Gregorian, Coptic, Mayan, Buddhist, Hindu, Zoroastrian, Revised Julian, 360 Day, Thai Lunar, Thai Solar, Hebrew, Discordian, or Runic calendar? It could make a big difference.
The end of what? Daylight? The end of the calendar? Have they finally flipped out over daylight savings time to the extent that we no longer count the days? I don't get it. Should I feed my dog?

Makes me confident that it is NOT going to happen as long as people are talking. When they stop look out.
