Memory is not really that big of a problem. I feel cheated but it's no biggie. It's not like i need 4gb of memory when i have a 16gb micro sd. It's the principle. As for the hinges, it's not really a defect. I mean who's here lie in their bed holding their phone right above their face? Try it and it's out of the ordinary. There something that irks me though. The t mobile g2 has 2.2 froyo os Spoiler but the htc desire z aka t mobile g2 has 2.1 os Spoiler After watching this video The 2.1 get more features than the 2.2. Ex. pinching to swtich to different home screen, ring volume deplete after it's picked up, turning the phone face down silent the ring, and etc.
Another cool apps i forgot to mention is KEY RING. It's an apps to scan and store all your blockbuster, cvs, krogers plus, petco, and petsmart card. I just love pulling out my phone when ever i go to one of these stores who always ask if i have a krogers plus card. haha their reaction is priceless after it work.
I agree. Nobody holds a phone like that...ever. It's a non-issue blown up because of the post on youtube. I think he's an iphone/Jobs plant.
It's not a problem. I'm going to post a video showing how water falls out of a cup if you turn it upside down and say the cup has a defect.
They both have 2.2. The Desire Z has HTC Sense skin on top of it. The G2 is stock Android. HTC just tweaks around the look a bit and adds some of their own widgets. The card view is part of 2.2, it's just activated differently on Sense vs stock. Just hold down the page dots near the bottom area to activate a card view of your screens. Apps on the Market duplicate things like face-down/silent mode.
