watching him guard KD, it's great to see lebron having to guard all the best perimeter scorers this year.
I think the Cavaliers' season record will play a big role in determining who wins the MVP this year. The worse their record is, the more visible LeBron's true value becomes, and surely the Cavs' record will be used in countless MVP debates.
Hmm, KG wasn't able to play to finish 09. Kobe would not have been able to play with that injury either. So if you want to go the injury angle then Boston wins.
Haslem and Miller are dollar for dollar the best role players in the NBA, those guys are going to be huge for this team. Haslem playing center and then switching off to guard Durant - that's versatility right there.
Heat looks really good. They acquired James, Bosh and Miller but didn't lose key players except Beasley and JO.
LeBron is going to be completely unstoppable on this Heat team. People have said that James doesn't have much of a post game -- my contention has always been that he does, but that it wasn't the best use of him in Cleveland since he lacked a legitimate 2ndary star. This year will prove me correct.
Wade isn't even playing. Even if they aren't the best defensive team with Wade, they can still get whatever they want whenever they want. Their offensive efficiency/output should match the best Suns' teams while their defense should be very good, if not the best. You can afford to give up a few points if you're capable of scoring at will.
he may not have a great post game, but you see why he rarely posts up. he gets doubled all the time. durant is 6'9-6'10 and needed double help wen lebron barely put down a dribble. lebron can do whatever he wants with this team. i look for him to have his best all-around season, taking in account the defense.
God, this Secret Scout thing is so weird/creepy. Why exactly does all this stuff we already know have to be kept a secret again?
but you have to. lebron doesn' need kobe's or pierce's post moves to dominate in the post. he has "enough" post moves and use his strength to dominate. but the person i see benefiting the most from this is bosh. i feel like he can get an open midrange J all day.
Not double-teaming LeBron when he scores at will on a defender is a more surefire way to get blown out.
I wouldnt worry too much about these games, I would say theyre not pressing all the way down on the accellerator, its just a preseason game. The lakers lost against spain, big deal. Nobody wants to play too hard and injure something again.
Yeah, there really isn't much you can do. I think you would need to have a Pacers Artest and a long, mobile and cerbral big-man (prime KG or Duncan) to effectively defend this team, but then you would still have Wade breaking down the defense. I think hypothetically, a team with Hinrich, KG and Artest (all in their prime) would do the best at containing this team.
