Christ, this isn't the military. The "leader" of a team is its best player. Lebron is the best player in the NBA so he is the defacto best player on the Heat too. Who gives a **** if he says some douchey things? He does the job on the court. Idiot Kobe fanbois like to rip on him because he apparently isn't getting the job done since he doesn't have rings, but they forget that basketball is a team sport. Now Lebron has a team and he will win. Even if it pisses off everyone who wants to see him fail.

If I've offended you, I'm sorry. But I really dislike when people argue back using the same words that I've just used- Are you trying to mock me sir? Also, I never said anything about who was the best player in the team, which in I my opinion (yes you're allowed to have those), is up for debate. I simply stated that LeBron shouldn't be automatically labelled the leader after he's played one single game.

Kinda like LA was lucky that KG was hurt in 09, and still not the same in 10? That's the significant injury of the series. The Magic not having Nelson and Houston not having Yao were just as significant as Bynum being hurt.*

LeBron's team won regular season last 2 years and he didn't have a team, right. Excuse after excuse.

If Heat don't win it all this season, is it because it isn't LeBron's team right?

So you want to talk about injury? Was it Kobe not hurt, he had a broken finger and drained the knee constantly? Kobe was more important to Lakers than KG to Celtics.

I don't remember that. I'm sure those of us who are true Rocket fans will dislike the Heat, but not many of us believe the Heat will suck. It seems like I have mainly heard a lot of people complaining that no one will be able to beat the Heat.

If suck means not winning the championship, yes, I think they'll suck. And one preseason doesn't change my standpoint.

Nope, no excuses this time. You are trying to bash on Lebron but you actually are paying him a great compliment by mentioning that the Cavs had the best regular season record in the NBA the last two years (and went the Finals the year before that). That is incredible, considering how little talent they had outside of Lebron. When Lebron was out, they sucked. This year, with no Lebron, they will suck. It's pretty clear that he was the guy that made them so good. Contrast with Kobe, whose teams have always done well when he has been out, and who couldn't do dick in the three years he didn't have all-star talent around him (even though he had Odom, who is better than anyone Lebron has ever played with).

Barring injury, the Heat are going to shatter records this year and should win the title easily. We're talking minimum four-peat. If they underperform (again, barring injury), that's mostly on Lebron because he is the leader of that team.

You don't win 60 games because of one person. Actually, no team winning b2b 60 games and not made finals before, LeBron did set a record. It's also incredible they lost only one game at home all season long, refs did a very good job there.

And no, that's not a compliment, true great players don't underperform in playoff, a good leader not only plays his best in playoff, he also makes his teammates play their best, LeBron's just the opposite. And great players don't take injury as excuse, let alone a phantom elbow injury.

Cavs win 60+ with Lebron carrying them by himself.
Lebron now has Wade, Bosh and a lesser extent Miller, and as a lot of people are saying, they will push on 70 wins.
Dont forget Miami have a better coach, GM and a team who can play great D.

These were the same LeBron fanbois who said Shaq was the last piece, then Jamison was the last piece. They were so confident they believed Cavs would sweep Magic/Celtics.

After losses, they quickly pointed out LeBron had no help.

I mean, it's OK to be LeBron fanbois, but at least don't slap on your own faces this quickly.

Hahahaha, goodbug got pwned with this one. There is no comeback after this, the only retort the pathetic troll can spit after that is regurgitated nonsense that no one here ever said, like "yall thought shaq was the best player in the world and would win lebron a ring".

Yea, nice try dummy, nobody with 1 brain cell ever thought that a 40 year old washed up shaq with no more hook shot was the answer, let alone a 35 year old cream puff antawn "who?" jamison.

    Try harder.

LOL, just check Hollinger, No.1 LeBron ass kisser in ESPN. How he's terribly wrong every year. If you are so proud, why don't you show some comment you made before the playoff of last 2 seasons?

Says No.2 Kobe ass kisser on Clutchfans.

Who do you think will lead the Heat in scoring and assists this year? How many games do you think they'll win?

Make you prediction, and we'll see between you and Hollinger who's more accurate by season's end.

Some people feel the need to tell somebody that nobody cares about their post, so they might not care about the post, but they care about telling the user that his/her insight is irrelevant.
