OK. I have a pocket watch that also allows me to make calls, text message, browse the internet and listen to music. It's called an iPhone. I do not wear it on my wrist. I didn't notice the word "wristwatch" in the original post nor the thread title.
Does anybody really know what time it is? Does anybody really care? about time? If so I can't imagine why.
Dood. Stop trying to pick up moes' little Red Rowdy cousin. She from North Dakota. Where's SpaceCityKid when you need him...?
What makes you think so? I have not owned an Omega, and I do like my Rolex, my wife gave me a watch case that automatically winds it....so I keep it in that case when not wearing it. Either way, wearing nearly 10k on your wrist is a bit much, I think. DD
yeah, you caught me. i was willing to jeopardize my marriage of 13 years to a woman who must clearly be blind to be hanging out with me....because some stranger on a message board posted a forgetting sarah marshall quote. by the way...the grammar in your post sucks.
I love watches and I have a several that I rotate and wear for different occasions (formality, activity, etc.) That being said, a solid dress watch under $1000: Victorinox/Swiss Army Tissot Movado Seiko Citizen Stowa Nomos Hamilton Or vintage Bell & Ross, Omega, Maurice Lacroix
I am now in consulting, and sometimes in meetings you can see a lot of folks looking at the watch, etc....I just don't know how they view it....maybe they think they are overpaying me...lol. So, I got a nice Swiss Army that is classy for regular days. Not to mention when you are out at night with clients getting your buzz on you are less likely to get rolled wearing the Swiss Army. DD
Thank you MadMax for the rep, I'm flattered, but it's probably best you stay with your wife. I'm no home-wrecker. Moes- I knew you of all people would catch that movie reference. Swoly-D- I'm sure Blunt or maybe RealRocketRed is around here somewhere, same guy as SCK with the exact same posting style. I'd know. He and I don't exactly get along (see pickup basketball thread) "what time is it?" "I don't know, my watch doesn't tell time!" Tough one^
oh, shoot...i really thought we had something special there. i mean, she's my best friend and wife of 13 years....but you quoted from a movie i like. i'll soldier on, i suppose.
Hands off my kin-folk there, Arnie Becker. Plus - you don't want to have to engage in fisticuffs with Kam.
