    Had Five Guys after the rodeo earlier this year. I didn't see what the big deal was. Just an average burger for me and I am NOT a burger-snob at all.

    If you're ever out near Kingwood, go to Pete's on 494 in Porter. Little shack that has the best burger I've ever had. Of course, Bill's is good too and right down the street.

    If you're ever in Galveston on the West end, try the Blue Water Grill. The place is always empty and I have no idea why. An AMAZING burger.

    P. Terry's in Austin is my favorite. Cheap, too.

    Cheeburger Cheeburger off Louetta is a tasty burger. Mel's in Tomball is always good.

    Five Napkin Burger....Yummy Yummy, in your Tummy. :grin:
    I used to live in Manhattan, if you are looking for a good burger stop here.
    Though more high end. Not a In n' Out type setting.

    Speaking of....
    In n' Out. Of course, it's hard to find a West Coaster who doesn't mention this place in food conversation.

    Five Guys, really good. And a embarassing like for me...Carl's Jr. Why I like their low end burgers? Go figure...but I do.
    But like someone said earlier, this is on the fast food scale...for the best burgers, more high end places are top notch. But the reason why most people mention fast food type joints, because who goes to an expensive -high dining restaurant and order a burger?

    There's a Fuddrucker's and a Beck's Prime in the shopping center at Grogans Mill Road and S. Millbend. They both serve bottled beer, no draft.

    Skeeter's does a decent burger... in the Kroger's center @ Research and Gosling... but I prefer Becks or Fudds.

    I hear ya man. Unfortunately, the Woodlands is severely lacking in mom & pop restaurants. I'll keep thinking on it. I grew up there and bought a house there last year.

    I think you missed the point. Of course there are better burgers than fast-food burgers, but the OP's article was based around fast food.

    Bellaire Broiler Burger gets my vote.

    I remember Blue 9 Burger in NYC being pretty damn good.

    Smashburger = overrated.

    Since there are none in Texas, I will say they are the best microwave burgers ever!
