Cause we as fans are ruthless, we don't care about any of the good moments, we don't care about the concept of a team, we put the blame on the highest paid player. McGrady deserves partial blame for the lack of success in Hou, but so does JVG, Yao, CD, and the rest of our team. However, do Yao or McGrady really deserve any hate? IMO, no, Yao gets no hate, yet he is just a responsible as McGrady, he just doesn't speak out so we ignore him. He came, he saw, he lost, now let it go, if you don't want him to succeed, don't root for him. Personally, I am glad he is going to the East, maybe he'll come back strong and give the Heat a run for their money.

So far this player you mention has sunk exponentially. It's Rose and Noah's team right now. Boozer is a mercenary and so will be Mac.
He has been too spoiled to realize the truth. Maybe he can still help off the bench but I will give him 2-3 years until retirement. Mixed feelings here. I'll concentrate on the Western conf. and on how to dethrone the Lakers.

Go some other country if you want censorship.

So what if some fans don't like him, some still do. And you are ruining their day, although McLady is not on your favorite team anymore.

    Go play with your wiener..

I can't say I hate the guy, it's more laughing at his r****dation.

When he wasn't playing well, he blamed it on injuries always.

    He didn't practice hard.

He spoke about his personal life dramatically to make everyone feel sorry for him.

My personal favorite: him blocking a trade with microfracture surgery. He was told by half a dozen doctors thta he didn't need the surgery until he called on Dr. Nick.

Out of his mouth it sounds ridiculous but he's right. Bulls were 41-41 team last season.

I never bought this "conspiracy". If a team really wanted T-Mac, they wanted him for his contract, not his talents. So if there was a trade, announcing the surgery wouldn't matter because whatever team wanted him was for his expiring. If he could play, then great. They would have an extra body to play games. But if not, no biggie, he comes off the books anyways.

Just look at the Knicks. They traded for him with 2 #1 picks and a lottery player in Jordan Hill. This is considering that T-Mac barley even played and when he did, did not look that good. Knicks made the trade anyway. Ended up sitting out the last month or so and the Knicks could have cared less. Why? Because all they wanted from T-Mac is the contract.

I guarantee the Nets wouldn't have wanted to take on that contract for a year and a half without him playing at all and give away Vince Carter. That's 21+ million and a lot of tickets unsold. They were able to trade Vince away to Orlando for a better deal financially and on the court. Too bad nothing could help the Nets last year.

Holy hell, he still hasn't learned to just shut his mouth.

    1. Already talking about himself as a member of the team despite not having a contract in hand, let alone signed.

    2. Someone needs to remind him of the NYK win differential with him in vs out of the lineup.

    for realz! its a bet!

if tracy mcgrady averages more than 15 ppg next year i, jo mama, will contribute $50 to the tip jar.

if tracy mcgrady averages less than 15 ppg next year trueroxfan will contribute $50 to the tip jar.

and can we say he has to play a minimum of 10 games? i dont want some scenario where he plays 3 games, averages 15 ppg and then gets hurt.

this bet obviously will not be settled up till may 2011, but how about if we put it in our sigs so we dont forget. and also, how about the loser has 2 weeks after the regular season to pay and if they dont they agree to allow a moderator to suspend their account until they settle up?

do you agree to those terms? if so, ill start another thread so we have it on record. this will be a fun way to raise some $$$ for the site!
