I just read and posted that Detroit is still looking to trade for Cousins. I am sure Morey is on this or at least i hope he is. Sacramento has already turned down our Aaron Brooks offer, but could they turn down a Brooks + Hill + future picks and cash?
First hsf09, thanks for not burning me on the thread. I had to let it be known. Secondly, it wouldn't hurt to try.
why would morey go after cousins, when he already said they were ready to give up TOO MUCH to move up, in other words it would be a huge financial burden, when they got the exact player they wanted in the draft already?
Please , do not spread BS rumors about Brooks being trade bait for Cousins. There is no news/ evidence that brooks was offered for anyone.
if the rockets gave up brooks alone for cousins morey would have to be drunk at the time. no way they offered him for a rookie(unless its wall).
Source??? Dont spread bs rumors. I wouldnt even trade brooks for wall straight up, because wall is a unproven player.
So when LeBron James was coming into the league you would not have traded any good player on the Rockets for him?
I wish Cousins would get traded. I don't think that team is the best place for him. It's all young guys. For him to stand the best chance of reaching his potential, he needs to go to a team with a winning/hard working culture. Houston and San Antonio come to mind immediately. But obviously the Lakers, the Celtics and other teams would have suitable role models for him to model his work habits after. The Kings, however, remind me of the Steve Francis led Rockets. Lots of young talent, no leadership.
