I have this crazy belief that married people shouldn't go to strip clubs or dance clubs without their spouse.

Places like these aren't intended for those in committed relationships. Women (and men) can go out by themselves, but why go to a place that is meant for hooking up? You're only setting yourself up for bad situations.

No...guys hanging out in a guy area and girls going to a "girl" place is fine. But married guys or married girls going to a hook-up joint is inappropriate IMO.

Although I'm sure there are a few exceptions...

 

I kinda agree with this. 99% of the people at a club/bar are either A.) Single and looking to hookup or B.) Married and looking to hookup. If you enjoy the club atmosphere, drinks, dancing, etc., that's fine: find a babysitter and go out together. But if you ask your husband to stay home and take care of the kids while you go out with some other guy, get sh!tf@ced, and take a ride to God-knows-where with him, your relationship has issues that need addressing.

Imagine if the roles were reversed: a guy says to his wife "You stay home with the kids. I'm going out with this other woman who I know you don't like", doesn't call for hours, and then you finally find out (from some third-party), that he spent the night getting more and more drunk and that he's getting a ride with her and now is nowhere to be found, all while not answering his phone. How many of us would be defending him? Probably not too many. Because his actions don't show a lot of respect for his wife or their marriage.

Having said that: Disciple of RP, I hope we're reading this all wrong and everything turns out okay.

 

Yeah I noticed he said she was 90 pounds at first and then changed it to 85 later on. Yeah it's only 5 pounds but I think this story is fake.
